Muggle born wizards usually have a magical family history. When someone born to a wizard family doesn't have magic (squib) like filch, over time they get outcast from the wizarding world. And after a couple generations of living in the muggle world their ancestors can have a throwback to the magical gene. Which is most likely what happened with hermione, and also lily potter. Fun fact, Delores umbridge has a brother who is a squib, which is likely because of their muggle mother. The old lady that comes to harry and Dudley in the order of the phoenix was also a squib.

Its sort of like a recessive gene. Like how a family with mostly brown-haired members can have a sudden red-haired baby out of (seemingly) nowhere. The gene has always been there it just wasn't as dominant as others until suddenly it came out in one specific family member.

Answers to questions: You don't need to be a witch or wizard or even have any in your family tree to be magical. Hagrid himself says in COS that most of the wizards and witches are half blood or less, but lie about it. Here, we find it's true in terms of Snape. Voldemort chose Draco to kill Dumbledore mainly to punish Lucius after he failed to procure the Prophecy, knowing he would fail. Movie version of Luna seemed to be a better relationship for Harry rather than movie Ginny, in all honesty(more on that after DH part 2). Harry said he only wanted to borrow the diary, partially to annoy Lucius, but also to free Dobby. Favourite line of this movie: "HARRY?!!" ".....SIR!!!" Follow up stuff: "Half Blood Prince"is my favourite book, but my least favourite of the HP movies. However, your reaction was really deep and I can't wait to watch the final two of the series with you. The Burrow fight is completely pointless, as in the next film, the Burrow is completely repaired without any kind of reason of the big EMOTIONAL scene of it being burned(magic!) It's just to add an action scene, as theres not many in HBP compared to the rest of the series. The backstory of Voldemorts mother and Voldemort is also totally cut to have the extended romance scene with Ginny(that was so damn stupid, I was facepalming in the theatre). Merope, Tom's mother, was inbred because her family interbred to keep their bloodline pure. She drugged Tom Riddle SR. with love potion and had Tom with him(though he's considered the asshole for leaving her when she stopped drugging him, hoping that he would stay with her). Tom's mother had to sell her only heirloom, the locket of Salazar Slytherin to stay alive and Tom, at his first job, murders a witch to get it back(and also starts his thefts of important wizarding artifacts, as he wanted all of his horcrux's to be "important"). The diary contained the information that he was the Heir of Slytherin, so it was very important to him. Ginny of the movies is so boring compared to her book version, who has real reasons to be Harry's love interest. In here, it seems that its just because Dumbledore cockblocks him and she's the only other unattached female, lol. The funeral for Dumbledore was cut for the wands raised scene, but it was so much better in the funeral to see all the characters Dumbledore had helped coming together(including the merpeople and even the centaurs, who have little love for the wizarding community at that moment)giving him a sendoff. We seem to forget about the "Half Blood Prince"title between Harry learning the name and Snape revealing it, but its revealed his mother was named Eileen Prince, a witch who married a muggle(hence he WAS half a Prince.)

27:38 Sectum Sempra. The spell translates to "Always Cut". The spell literally causes numerous lacerations both internal and external, causing the target to bleed out rather quickly. The counter curse, Vulnera Sanentur, is known to only Snape, as he's the one who created the curse and counter curse, and has to be uttered 3 times. The first slows blood flow, the second closes wounds, and the 3rd eases pain from the curse. Also, isn't it obvious Snape is evil? He even told Narcissa and Bellatrix he's fooled one of the greatest wizards to ever live, then says "Dumbledore IS a great wizard." when Bellatrix tries slamming Dumbledore.

So true. Ginny was changed from a hot tempered and fiery character into a dumb romantic interest who Harry goes after because he got cockblocked by Dumbledore when he was forced to stand up that muggle girl. The ROR scene with her was so damn boring and took so long that I was saying "You could have just had their kiss after Ginny wins the quidditch game Harry was forced to sit out(in the movie, they don't even punish him, lol)that took two goddamn seconds and left in the backstory of Merope." Ron got so downgraded and made a big eater/walking joke. Hermione got the majority of his best lines, including his explaining of what mudblood meant and so forth.
@frozenpiper23 жыл бұрын
Yeah Ron was made to look less than because of Harry needing to look more powerful I guess. That's one of the things I didn't like about the third movie. In the book it was actually Tonks that rescues Harry on the train after being stunned by Malfoy and brought to Hogwarts. Yup. Same way Neville did well with a subject when he wasn't being bullied by Snape, Harry did well with Slughorn, who liked Harry, but didn't give him all the answers. Snape gave favoritism to all of the Slytherin's, especially Malfoy.

The cabinet that Draco keeps going to is in the come and go room, AKA, the room of requirement. I don't think the movie really explains it, but that's the same room where they held the DA meetings in the last movie. The room changes depending on what you need it to be. Draco needed to find the space where all the old lost or unwanted junk of Hogwarts was stored. In the book, it's super frustrating because Harry knows Draco is in there, but he can't get access to prove it or find out what he's up to because he doesn't know what Draco needed as he entered it.

Yeah the movies really ruined Ron’s character, he did a lot more and added more but they took away a lot of his good parts and gave it to Hermione it’s frustrating. The thing is from the earlier movies I got tell that Rupert grint seemed like the best actor out of the 3 of them but they took away more and more from his character as it went on and made it seem like Hermione and Harry were closer, like for example even in this movie at the end Ron is saying how they won’t let Harry do everything alone as well as Hermione but in the movie he’s sitting in the background away from them like why? They really made it seem like they aren’t close when ron and Harry are the closet out of them also if you read the books it’s obvious why it’s Ron and Hermione and not Harry and Hermione

@@hzuilquigmnzhah1017 Lol, if it was that damn easy, Dumbledore would have done it immediately. It doesn't give you knowledge of what to do, it just nudges you in the right direction. Besides, that little bottle only lasts 24 hours and the Horcrux's are all over.

@@MrWhatdafuBOOM no I didn’t Spoilers…seriously spoilers, I did not mince my words do not read this if you don’t want spoilers You don’t need to figure it out, the potion nudges you to do the thing you need to do. So you don’t actually need to figure it out as the potion knows where they are and could…nudge him to go into the ror to get one then to call kreacher and order him to bring his deepest shame or whatever he needed to say etc… felix apparently makes you super lucky and there are at least 2 horcruxes in close proximity to Harry at hogwarts, two of them are already destroyed one is locked in a vault and another is an order away and the last is with Tom so if Harry has already destroyed one with what is effectively luck then it stands to reason that the rest could be killed within a night, especially when he already has a weapon rated to kill them in hogwarts too I think the reason dumbledore never did it himself is because he wanted to teach Harry a lesson, which is all well and good but wizard hitle.,r is almost mortal at that point fuck the lesson Oou though, the reason dumbledore never did it is because felix breaks the setting and erases all conflict and j.k realised it was broken from the word go…seriously what problem can’t be solved with felix? Especially in the latter books, stuck in the wilderness with no way of finding the horcruxes for almost half a year? Brew felix and do it that way, need to break into gringots? Felix, Voldemort invading, felix. It’s broken.
