The Matrix Reloaded Movie Description:
Freedom fighters Neo (Keanu Reeves), Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) and Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) continue to lead the revolt against the Machine Army, unleashing their arsenal of extraordinary skills and weaponry against the systematic forces of repression and exploitation. In their quest to save the human race from extinction, they gain greater insight into the construct of The Matrix and Neo's pivotal role in the fate of mankind.
The Matrix Reloaded is a 2003 American science fiction action film written and directed by the Wachowskis. It is a sequel to The Matrix (1999), and the second installment in The Matrix film series. The film stars Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss, Hugo Weaving and Gloria Foster who reprise their roles from the previous film, while Jada Pinkett Smith was introduced in the cast.
The film premiered on May 7, 2003, in Westwood, Los Angeles, California, and had its worldwide release by Warner Bros. Pictures on May 15, 2003, including a screening out of competition at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival. The video game Enter the Matrix and The Animatrix, a collection of short animations, supported and expanded the film's story.
The film received generally positive reviews from critics and grossed $741.8 million worldwide, breaking Terminator 2: Judgment Day's record and becoming the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time, until Deadpool surpassed it in 2016. A direct sequel titled The Matrix Revolutions, was released six months later in November 2003.

In the scene with the Architect all the Neos on the screens represent different possible "realities" or possible outcomes for the Matrix. In every reality Neo has that conversation with the Architect, and we get a small glimpse of all the different responses Neo could have had.

I believe they mentioned "Broadcast Depth" meaning they are deep underground and the Matrix "signal" exist on the surface where the machines are. So they have to go up a certain distance to be close enough to the surface for the signal to reach from the Ship to the Matrix. like getting close enough to the WiFi.

@6:00 I believe that scene takes place in the construct. Tank is "dead" because he wouldn't take a big paycut to be in the sequel. You can only enter the Matrix if you're in a certain range. I.e. not too deep in the surface. That is why they refer to "broadcast depth" That is why they can't do it from Xion.

12:53 "Why you _lie_ to her, man?" Oh, he didn't. Consider that vision. It shows Trinity sustain a shot that everything we know about medicine tells us _should_ be fatal, and we see the expression of surprise begin to appear on her face, but we don't actually see her _die._ And remember, in part I, _Neo_ gets shot _over and over_ again, and _actually_ dies, before being restored by true love's _kiss._

The screens in the room with the Architect represent the infinite branching of all the possible choices Neo might make. That's why choice is the problem in keeping the Matrix stable. It also explains the Oracle's involvement, as she is able to probabilistically determine the most likely choices, which is how she seems to know the future. It's really the fundamental difference between a digital perspective with discreet values, and an analog perspective where everything is a shade of gray.

That sequence from chateau fight to freeway chase was incredible to watch in the theatre. The rest of the movie seemed like a bit of a letdown in comparison. The burly brawl (the fight with all the Smith copies) always looked off to me because of the obviously fake doubles.

23:33-To be honest, that was actually Moss riding the motorcycle, against the flow of traffic on a real set! The only thing that was CGI was some of the cars swerving out of the way. Cars that were in lanes that were far enough away from Moss without having to swerve at all were real, while ones that were CGI. Moss was able to made turns to dodge the CG cars, as marks were place on the roadway.

24:28 "Come on now, Morpheus. I know you can whip this agent's ass." Well now, remember, it's only happened _once_ that we've seen Morpheus take _on_ an agent, hand to hand. This was _after_ he had warned Neo that everyone who had ever done so had _lost._ Accordingly, even though he put up a good fight, that's what happened to _him._ Now remember that _these_ agents are _upgrades,_ so fighting one of them should pose an even _greater_ challenge. Let's not be so confident in Morpheus.

_Reloaded_ and _Revolutions_ came out within a few _months_ of each other, which is understandable, given the cliffhanger at the end of _Reloaded_ that _Revolutions_ resolves, and it would not surprise me to learn that _Rev_ is basically a continuation of the script from _Rel._ That's why everything from _Rel_ continues in _Rev_ so seamlessly, and that includes their special effects which are _orders of magnitude_ better than the effects in the _first_ one. None of this changes the fact, though, that I prefer the first one. First, consider the _incredible_ philosophical _depth_ that movie takes you into. That's something that _far and away_ surpasses _Rel_ and _Rev._ At the end of your first viewing of _that_ movie, you find yourself taking in your surroundings and wondering if they're part of an elaborate _simulation._ And as I develop an increasing appreciation for philosophy, I find myself developing an increasing appreciation of part I. But second, consider _The Matrix_ entirely on its own for a moment. It didn't really end with any loose ends that really _had_ to be tied up with sequels. The Wachowskis were smart about it. They made _The Matrix_ in such a way that, if the franchise never went any further, it could be considered complete, but if the studio asked them to make more _Matrix_ movies, there was plenty of room to _expand_ the franchise. That's a point that doesn't really stand _out,_ but it's _incredibly_ useful the way they ended part I.

"Would you take the _red_ pill or the _blue_ pill?" This is an answer, I can tell, you, will probably change as you go through life. I can tell you, I was an adult when the first movie came out, and I would've taken the red pill without _hesitation._ I was a fairly _young_ adult, though. I was fully grown, but I was _young_ and _strong_ and that's probably the main reason. Ten years later, I probably _still_ would've taken the red pill, but there would've been _some_ hesitation. Not anymore. My appetite for conflict has been fading. No, give the red pill to someone _else_ as young and strong as _I_ used to be. I'll take the blue pill and go about my life in the Matrix.

They can't go into the matrix from Zion because it's too deep. They mention at various points about "broadcast depth" I assume they have to be at a minimum distance from the machines servers(or wherever the machines store all the data for the Matrix.) Also that clean looking room with the people at Zion when the ship is on approach, they're plugged in to a programme like the training programmes.
