@@eazye519 Yes Jelly Roll, Jinjer, Tech N9ne, Twelve Foot Ninja etc are all boring. But music is a personal taste. Not everyone likes the same thing. Hence the beauty of it. To me WEEN is the greatest band ever. Most have never heard of them and some think they are garbage. But things I liked as a teenager were for my mood and mindset at that time. Hell I thought Natural Born Killers was the best movie ever back then, now it doesn't stir the same emotions. I have changed...as have my tastes in movies, music, literature and in life.

Coming from Queen and the Alan Parsons Project these days , '85 a good friend came to me with their debut,the legendary "Walls of Jericho" ,and told me : You have to listen to these guys from Hamburg! I did and it was Viagra to my musical understanding. I immediately recorded a cassette and put "Accept" 8n the other side. A new metal fan was born.

In the mid-teens Michael Kiskes vocals were close to unmatched, so he was headhunted by Helloween. Not sure if he joined them when he was 18? Here i guess 20? Their Keeper of the seven keys albums are just awesome and should be checked out.

He joined Helloween at 18 un 1987, that song was part of the album "Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part. II" that was released in 1988, so at that time he was 19 or 20 about.

The good old days of Helloween. Unfortunately Ingo Schwichtenberg (drums) died because of suicide time after the Keeper-albums. I am from a small town near Hamburg and Helloween is from Hamburg. Also Kiskes voice is outstanding and unique, lucky i was able to hear him in Hamburg together with Avantasia.

Try to listen to Lovebites version for the fifth time. BETTER? I think you have a hearing problem. The girls voice is unnatural and overartificial, she pushes wait to hard in the lower register, trying to sound like Beth Hart, but instead sounding like some kind of whale. She sings overtheatrical and lacks a voice of her own + she sings out of tune, especially after the guitar and drum solo, at some point it's unbearable. She lacks timing to. She sings before the note, or after the note, it's annoying. Aditionally she has a teribble accent. I don't understand how you can find this better than the original. I used to sing in bands for 10 years. That doesn't mean I can judge music better than you, but man, you can't compare the quality of the original to Lovebites attempt. And comparing a girl's voice to a man's is like comparing apples to bananas

Sorry to say. I tried listening to Lovebites version 5 times but I had to stop. The girl sings out of key, especially after the drum and guitar solo (3.50 seconds). That's because she sings overtheatrical. It's a farce. It's even worse than Celine Dion's version of AC/DC's 'You shook me all night Long'. Positives: the musicianship is great.
