@William Afton Same here, the pure terror, very interesting looking world of Hell and worldbuilding are great even though the scares themselves aren't very effective and some of the sequels are very bland and forgettable. The cenobites are the most important in my opinion and in some movies they appear only for one scene or just a few. In the first 2 movies they were portrayed as the bad guys but at the same time they were actually neutral. Following the Leviathan's orders and the rule of the box. And then from movie 3 onwards they are portrayed more like followers of satan, disrespecting the God and church symbols. The original cenobites seemed more interesting because they were an unknown lovecraftian horror neutral fraction and not just demons another anti-God demons. Also satan himself doesn't appear in the original, there is another entity called "the Leviathan" which also sounds very H.P. Lovecraft.

I watched Judgment yesterday. Interesting ideas but wasn't carried out too well. I'd welcome your interpretation. I think the psychological elements from 1 and 2 are more how a new movie should be. I'm curious how the Hulu series will go, but don't have high hopes.

That's cool. The Hellbound theme goes well with the footage. It's similar to Gustav Holst's The Planets, so quite fitting, and also the fact that Hellraiser IV ends in space. :P
