Greg, thanks for watching and commenting. Hellrazr have contacted me regarding the Skewers, they changed the skewer design purely on a cost basis. Unfortunately my Yama is the old style unit and the skewers do not sit correctly, they are sending me a replacement set.

@@DutchyOutdoorCookingBBQ Hey Dutchy, I just bought the YAMA and paid good $$ - had the exact same problem you did and I've just emailed them. Such a beautiful piece of kit but super disappointed with the thin skewers they packed it with. It was the first thing I checked when I unboxed it.
