31:31 Btw i think what happened here was that Alistar knocked up Jhin and there was no ward in the bush so the fog of war just kinda kicked in and the orange/brown thingy was Jhin getting knocked up. I love ur videos btw! Keep it up! ❤

This is definitely more of a carry Alistar build, if you want more support, for instance you are playing duo, I go proto steel capped first, then dead mans plate. For runes, PR, Nimbus Cloak, Overgrowth, Second Wind, and the shield when using cc(forgot name)

warmog is still much better as a first item especially since overgrowth, second wind, the cc shield and triumph if you use it all are stronger with more max HP

I remember playing Alistar my first time in ranked, because someone asked me to play him. I actually carried because I played safe in the early game and I noticed that it's actually super hard to kill a good Alistair he just gets out of battle with 10hp left 😂

Hey, I am the top 50 alistar in EU, although Kies played much much better than me, here are my thoughts: - Running Phase rush can easily make you out of mana, alistar has a bit of mana problem in general, because you don't build mana items, you can pick the mana crsytal of the Mask, it could help a bit. - like you mentioned, You ONLY engage when: 1. you can get a kill 2. You need to protect you team 3. zone out the enemies with important objectives. No other. The reason is, when you engage, your team will follow, if you engage randomly, you are basically baiting your team into a deadly fight, remember you are the one who make the play, win or lose. - In solo queue, only roam when you are 100% sure your adc won't die (it applies to all support btw) - In general during the landing phase, if you don't have ult, and the enemy is full hp, don't turret dive, unless you have a good adc (in general, of course you have to adopt case by case)

Usually I build Thornmil (given nami, yuumi, soraka and janna everywhere now), Mask (when you want more dmg or you have good mid mage), Twinguard, I don't build sunfire too much, just my personal preference., enchantment I go protobelt, go stoneplate when behind.

Forgot one very important tips, ALISTAR IS NOT a click button champion, use your brain before you click. When you do QW combo, make sure your Q or E both are not in cooldown, if you just click button whenever it is available, your enemy will thanks for you to kick him away. AND MAKE SURE you have enough mana to do the whole combo.

technically collector doesnt have any true damage, since it just gives lethality and AD. the true damage is only the execute. As for first strike, the bonus true damage scales off of your initial damage, so if you have more resistances which means enemy deal less initial damage it also means less true damage from first strike. so kies buying amaranth twinguard would make sense here

At 31:30 where jhin mysteriously flashed, i think he just short flashed using the hextech key and it was enough to get him into the bush and make it look like he flashed, i have no other explanation

So that was epic, but something that was touched on that sooooo important is that to last THAT long in a team fight, you need blue buff. Kies doesn’t build any mana items. That initial team fight 1v4 is only possible bc he snagged blue from kat

im a bit sleep deprived im gonna add some thoughts. i probably shouldve done a commentary like a chad but.. (ALSO THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE NICE COMMENTS THEY MAKE ME SO HAPPY) triumph helps a lot with mana especially if you're selective with your engages. engage>kill>mana regen and so on. you have to not get a kill from multiple fights to run out of mana really, but still need a mana item by 3rd i think. also phase rush is sooo good on him, for chasing with e stun, diving backline, disengaging to live or proc warmog heal faster. every good clip in this video happened because of phase rush. its always relic into defensive boots and warmog you can never get better than that, then situational defense after. ALSSSOO I KNOW THE LANE PHASES SUCKED. I COULD SEND A GAME WHERE I STOMPED LANE SURE BUT WHATS THE POINT, THE ENEMIES JUST TROLL OR FF AFTERWARDS ANYWAY :((( i wanted a decent all round game with early mid and late. the idea with the rakan lane was to bait his w and walk behind to headbutt him into my tower like you would with a leona engage but yea it failed every time in this specific game. i could have played the lane in a boring way with normal engages but even now im still trying weird things in the laning phase just to improve. BUT YEA THE BEST ADVICE I HAVE IS TO JUST TRY THINGS AND BE PATIENT, TRY TO LOOK AROUND THE TAKE IN THE SCENARIO BEFORE YOU JUST COMBO THE FIRST GUY YOU SEE, MAYBE THERES A BETTER PLAY AVAILABLE!! ali is fun :D

I have a slightly different build which I call CC to the MOOOOn (CDR build) Items: - Relic Shield (to be replaced by Abyssal Mask) - Boots of Lucidity (into Protobelt) - Thornmail - Sunfire - Dawnshroud (or Twin Guard against a lot of bruisers) - Warmogs Item purchase Sequence: Relic Shield > Catalyst of Aeons > Boots of Lucidity > Bramble Vest > Sunfire > Thornmail or Dawnshroud > Warmogs Runes: - Phase Rush - CotC - Second Wind (Bone Plating against burst) - Overgrowth - Transcendence This cow build will continuously CC the heck out of enemy so long as he have mana. Not sure if I'm over capping CDR here (I'm not into so much analysis so your thoughts are very much appreciated)
