to be honest the decision to make them not get back together at the end I think was a good choice. It makes the characters feel more real.

Even if they get back together in the show, I think it'd have to be after a LOT of work on both ends (especially Blitz's) before they're able to. Stolas just wants love. He hasn't said what he likes about Blitz specifically. He needs to figure that out and see if he even actually wants someone, or just wants to feel loved, or if he wants Blitz (or the idea of him). He also really needs to learn how to listen; Vivzie iirc has outright said that not listening is his character flaw. We see it with his daughter and ex-wife, too. Blitz needs... I don't even know. A very huge character redemption and healing. He can't get non-exploitative therapy in Hell (and human therapy requires insurance/human money), and mindset shifts realistically can't be done very quickly. He obviously thinks of everyone around him as out to get him to the point where he has to be shitty to keep himself safe from being weak enough to have others exploit him (they live in Hell, after all, look at the Greed ring they grew up in especially). That's going to take a while to undo.

Ngl Verosika is a pretty relatable character. She’s a succubus so she has to whore around because of what she is. That alone means she would need to be detached from feelings. So the one time she lets herself gain feelings and I’m assuming the first time they came out. They got rejected and abandoned. Which is automatically 5x worse since it’s blitz. Leaving her angry. We need her episode of somewhat recollection or having her help him properly apologize to all the exes

Tbh how many of them were exes. It was an "anti-Blitzo" party, and even Dennis was there. I actually wonder what like, the ratio between ex, ex-friend, and random people he did dirty is.

I think this is actually lampshaded by Blitzø being like "damn, have I fucked this many people?" He doesn't remember and tbh it doesn't really matter. The point is the party existing, and at least the implication that a majority of the people there have been personally hurt by him in ways that are not easy to deal with.

Also... Stolas has always been my favorite character, and i love the relationship potential between him and Blitz. I hope that Blitz realizes how much he actually loves Stolas before its way too late (if it isnt already) It's funny how much you can care about animated characters. Vizzie pop has done an amazing job with both Helluva boss as well as hazbin hotel.

I think Stolas is a combination of just oblivious and undersocialized. 1. It seems like he basically got all of his education on romance from Rom-coms and other media, so he thinks that’s how couples are supposed to talk to each other. He truly doesn’t comprehend how it actually sounds to someone who has spent their whole life hearing similar phrases said in a much more hostile, disrespectful tone. 2. It’s always difficult for someone in a dominant social class to really understand when they’re harming others below their social class because they’ve never been on the receiving end of that treatment. They literally can’t even SEE it, even when it happens right in front of them. And a lot of their resistance to changing when called out is their realization that they’ve been unwittingly hurting people for their whole lives, which is something they’re not prepared to confront. 3. I do wonder if he just didn’t realize Blitzø was serious about Luna being his daughter and having to take her to a medical appointment. It sounds like Blitzø had developed a habit of making ridiculous excuses, so it’s possible Stolas didn’t realize that no, really, Luna really is his daughter and she really does need that medical appointment.

I understand WHY Stolas is the way he is, but it's not remotely an excuse, in the same way that Blitz's growing up hating himself is no excuse for how he treats people. My issue is that I'm worried they're just going to abandon this plot arc. Those moments of Stolas' class/race privilege seemed deliberately written, particularly the part where the Wrath ring imps were glaring at him at the Harvest Moon festival. It would leave a bad taste in my mouth if Stolas is allowed to get away with his terrible behavior just because Blitz is the more obvious jerk. Yes, he actually has given Blitz a reason to believe he looks down on him. Yes, Stolas was treating Blitz like a rent boy (Blitz even said he's 'not a DAY hooker'. Stolas just paid him with the book instead of cash). He started the hypersexual relationship, only showed hints of wanting to change it to romantic without ever having the guts to clearly communicate that out loud, and then blamed Blitz for not being on the same page and believing him when he finally did suddenly confess. (I've seen friends with benefits situations implode just like this irl, though it's always lesbians). The whole thing is so ridiculous I can only wonder if Stolas saw Pretty Woman and that's why he thinks a sex worker would believe a love confession from a super wealthy client.

The episode was great but kinda bittersweet, I'm glad Blitz kinda patched things up with Verosika, but it looks like Stolas is gonna need more time Lastly, Stolas singing never ceases to amaze

It just dawned on me a mind blowing realization. Verosika knew that Blitz was at the party the whole time. Even when she was performing on stage with Tex and Stolas. She could have outed him at any time and easily whipped her bitter, vengeful, drunken party guests into a frenzy to beat the living hell out of him (no pun intended) but was she clearly pretending to be none the wiser about him crashing the party. That proves that deep down a part of her still cares about him in spite of what he did to her. But the best evidence that she knew he was there the whole time is the fact that she was completely unfazed by him coming to talk to her while all the guests just happen to conveniently be distracted. Even her tone of voice when mentioning his “apology tour” seems to heavily imply that she was expecting him. In other words, she went to the top of the stairs to deliberately wait for him and to emotionally prepare herself, she smoked a cigarette while she waited in order to calm her nerves, likely to keep her pent-up anger at bay as a way to emotionally restrain herself from wanting to loudly chew him out which would have made a scene and thus defeated her entire purpose of letting him save face by talking to her in private. This episode was absolutely brilliant and how it subverted the expectations of such a scenario where in a story like this, the person whose secretly in a place where everyone dislikes them usually has their cover blown. Not so this time, in this show he enters and exits the party and no one, except Verosika and Stolas are ever the wiser. That was a very refreshing subversion of expectations. I wouldn’t be surprised if the reason why Viv decided to do it that way is because Blitz had already been outed in the episode that introduced Ozzie. If she had done something like that again here in this episode, it would’ve just felt like a re-hash of a scenario she had already done so I’m glad she went with a more subtle and downplayed scenario. You know what they say, sometimes in the world of drama “less is more” and I grant you that doesn’t always have to be the case but when it works, it REALLY works and this episode clearly pulled that off and then some.

I don't even think that it's anything like that. I forgot who said it but I think I agree with them. I think even Verosika knows that, deep down, no one hates Blitz more than blitz himself. If anyone deserves to be at the I hate blitz party it's him

Really enjoyed your reaction! Great insights. I didn’t truly understand the situation Blitzo was in until you explained it like that. I think you’re right, this was definitely motivate him to change. And just the fact that he did all this, voluntarily subjected himself to this, and was able to be so vulnerable by the end, makes me think that he really does have feelings for Stolas, under all that resentment, wariness and misunderstanding. It feels like he’s finally starting to see Stolas for who he actually is, and to be drawn to what he sees, just in time to lose him. I’ve been thinking for a while that this might turn out to be an instance of one falling first, the other falling harder. I don’t agree with all the fans who think Blitzo has been in love with Stolas this whole time. I think that now that Blitzo can see Stolas with clear eyes, it’s his turn to fall for him. It’ll be bittersweet for a while. Blitzo has some growing and changing to do. But I think they’ll make it back together in the end.

In all honesty, I am both Verosika and Stolas. My boyfriend of two years cheated on me with someone who was supposed to be my best friend. I never even got a cheap attempt at an apology. All I got was excuses from both of them. It's already been over a year since I left and moved away, but I'm still bitter and angry and want them both to be as miserable as they made me the night I found out. But, deep down, some part of me is still hoping for an apology from him. He made me so happy and finally comfortable in my skin that I started feeling more confident whenever I was with him. I could sing and dance and be silly without him judging me and that made me feel so free, as cheesy and cliché as that sounds. I'm Verosika in that I'm a bit jaded now, but I'm Stolas hoping for closure and something genuine.

The woman who answered the door for Blitz, Martha, is the woman who cheated with Mayberry’s husband. The one Moxie shot in the head to save Blitz and Millie. Surprising they ended up together but I guess they are both in hell 😂 I recently learned Mayberry x Martha was actually a ship in the fandom

Honestly, deciding to make them exes would be much more serious, after all it's not Disney :) Blizø had a chance and he blew it. And who knows? maybe Blizø will pick up the pieces with Verosika, I'm starting to become very attached to this character❤. This show becomes more and more realistic and tackles more and more serious themes. Between Blizø who realizes his chaotic personality and Stolas who realizes that there is no point in waiting, ohlala 🔥 . I'm dead I have to wait this long for the next episode 💀

I relate with Stolas about wishing to feel what its like to be wanted by someone. Also I relate with Verosika in the part about being vulnerable to someone and then have your vulnerabilty crushed. I loved this episode. Realistuc and I agree with you, if people were able to see the consecuencies of their actions perhaps there would be less a***.

It's nice to see Blitz breaking in the car by the end. I mean similar scene was suppose to happen last episode when Stolas teleported Blitz out. Blitz was suppose to lean against his car and have ,,I've messed up..." moment but it was cut and episode ended with just Blitz yelling. I wonder if it was always the plan to change place of this scene to this episode instead or Viv saw people not happy about this scene not making it into the story so maybe last minute change was adding breakdown in the car scene here. I mean I don't think Viv changes a lot of stuff but maybe she thought it was good to make this scene happen after all and not cut it but just change episode for it.

Judging by what was in the trailer, DHORKS and CHERUB might be done for now. Stolas probably isn't in the October episode, but the Goetia plotline and the reconciliation may be mixed together.

Not at all. Personally, I feel that might be for the best because at this point, Blitz and Stolas would be better being nothing more than friends because Blitz can't give Stolas what he wants.
