When stella said stolas will “pay for it” at the end, she is implying she wants him dead bc in ep5 she was the one who hired striker to kill stolas
@leoncoben69832 жыл бұрын
No, not just that. She also means there'll be serious ramifications to Stolas' personal life too which will most likely be entirely true. I seriously doubt most of the other prominent figures of Hell will be supportive towards Stolas and he'll be a laughingstock within the nobility. Some may not care, and others will engage simply because it amuses them, like Asmodeus did last episode. But as you saw in that episode even the more common denizens of Hell mocked Stolas for being involved with an imp. In the world of aristocrats, this would be cause for them to attack and further ruin Stolas' life for not conducting himself as expected of a Prince. Stella honestly doesn't need to hire an assassin, she only does so that she can save face for herself as she'll be mocked too.

@LoinkLoink2 жыл бұрын
@@leoncoben6983 It makes perfect sense that the first episode of Season 2 would take place after the finale of Season 1, especially how Stolas in his outfit he wore in the finale and he is now depressed and taking pills, which fits perfectly taking place after the season finale. And I don't think you understand how divorces work. They take time to go into effect, and there's a lot of couples that continue to live together for a short time after they've decided to get divorced, since they may have nowhere else to live or their families may not be ready yet to bring them into their households, and this episode makes it clear that it's something that Stolas is the one actively pursuing it, hence Stella's threats about him paying for it.

Nux, it was always a rule of the universe that if you are a ruler your subjects have to bow down to you, you are not allowed to bow down to them if you plan on ruling for another season, the people WILL see you as weak and try to put someone more "powerful" in charge, which will always lead to a worse king. You can be nice, but you need to be ruthless with your power or it's gonna be taken away from you. The exeption to that is if you are not just powerful because of your status, but also because of actual might unrivaled by anyone else in the land, at that point you may be allowed to bow down to people if you feel like it, since they can't easily replace you.
@YaoiFan222 жыл бұрын
I agree, but not respecting your subjects and using your power to rule will just make you a tyrant. And the leading cause of death for tyrants is being killed by those closest to them. Noble and royalty cannot exist without their subjects. They'll only be ruling empty land if they didn't exist. Subjects outnumber even the guards of the family, so if the citizens have had enough of how they're being horribly treated--and they get some training--the royal/noble family will crumble.

I loved this episode and everything about it, so I'm actually surprised with the fanbase of Stella crying and bitching about how they "ruined" her character, like... Honey, i'm not saying you can't love Stella, but she's literally had 30 seconds of screentime if not less before this chapter. It's not the creator's fault if you have created your own headcanons about Stella being "good" and gradually became bad in your head. Since this is their show, and Stella is their character, if they want her to be this way, then she will be this way, deal with it and don't cry about how they "ruined" her when she never was the person your headcanon told you she was... And as a side note, you can still love Stella even if she is a bitch... Let's remember that this is hell, not all characters should have a complicated backstory like Stolas, some can just be bad. And you can like them still, there's nothing wrong with that.

At 1st I was disappointed, because I hate when shows or movies just come up with some back story mid story saying oh yeah they actually knew each other from before to try and rewrite the canon for what they have planned now. However this was handled probably the best of that trope that I've seen and once you get to the 2nd 1/2 where they are grown up it does make more sense and flow unlike other shows or movies that utilize this trope. It does make sense for the narrative over all too because... well one of the princes of Hell why would he let a pheasant into his bed chambers and bone him if they didn't know each other.
@IgnatiusBlaze42 жыл бұрын
@lemonssssssss4 That's not what I meant at all, a lot of series and movies do this trope of shoving it in later after the fact and flop because oh now this is what REAAALLY happened. Naruto is an example of this, couldn't think of any when I made the comment, and Naruto is the best example because not only does it do this... it does it A LOT, some of them sticking the landing like Jiraya raising orphans that eventually lead to the Akatsuki, or the 50 times they try to reexplain Itachi's back story, where it worked the 1st time but then they're adding things each time and retelling it. Kind of why I dislike Dragon Ball Z but love the original, ok he's a monkey boy inspired by Journey to the West... now theres aliens involved, oh now there's this Broly guy in this movie that was in Goku's nursery and got triggered everytime Goku cried, oh Trunks has purple hair, oh my mistake he has blue. It's different if it was planned form the get go, but didn't feel like that from Hellavua Boss, he just decided to get friendly with a demon king, stole his book, and because he showed him a good night Stolice is all yeah whatever, then they try to say no actually they knew each other as kids?... with no indications throughout the series? It annoys me when series do this, one of the stupidest tropes to patch up flaws because it's so obvious, but Helluva Boss unlike others stuck it well enough that by the end of the episode I was ok with it, still not thrilled but it's ok. I also would cut them some slack because they probably didn't imagine this or Hazbin Hotel would be so popular, it blew up, so they are trying to make a coherent plot. Probably why we haven't seen any Hazbin, they don't know what to do with it, weren't expecting it to be so popular so they built this new series and are building on it for some way to connect back to Hazbin.
@IgnatiusBlaze42 жыл бұрын
@lemonssssssss4 Yeah I was worried I might be misunderstood, it was a great episode over all, just that trope bothers me, like top 3... probably 3, can't think of other 2 but hey piss me off even more, cliches and tropes just AAAAH drive me up a wall. However, even if stumbling a bit, I still think it stuck the landing because it does somewhat work, and was well done. It was also just that trope, him and young blitz meeting, everything else was GLOOOORIOUS AND GOLDEN, beautifully done, loved Stolis dad, the standing up to his wife and showing he is a good dad trying to make it work for her, well done.

"Honestly, Helluva Boss has taken me on such an unexpected emotional journey. At first glance, it seems like just another animated show with wild comedy and outrageous antics, but as I've watched, I've come to realize that beneath all the chaos, there are layers of heartbreak and profound themes about relationships, loss, and the quest for redemption. One character that particularly struck a chord with me was Moxxie. His struggles with self-worth and the pressures of fitting into a world that often feels so unforgiving is something I think many of us can relate to. The way he navigates his feelings of inadequacy while trying to prove himself to his friends and loved ones really resonates. It reminds me of my own experiences where I often feel trapped by my insecurities, grappling with a fear of not being enough, both professionally and personally. The episode where we dive deeper into Millie and Moxxie's relationship absolutely broke my heart. Seeing the way they support and uplift each other, while also facing external challenges, made me reflect on my own relationships. It’s a reminder that love isn’t just about the good times; it’s also about weathering the storms together. It made me think about my partner and the sacrifices we both make for each other, which can sometimes lead to moments of tension. Then there’s the character of Blitzo, who embodies a mix of bravado and vulnerability. He presents this tough exterior, yet when you dig a little deeper, you see a character who is desperately trying to connect but often pushes people away. It was heartbreaking to witness his interactions with the other characters, especially in moments where his past traumas are hinted at. It really opened my eyes to how we often erect walls around our hearts to avoid getting hurt, which can lead to loneliness and regret. In a bizarre way, these exaggerated representations of hellish situations force us to confront our own realities. They challenge us to think about how our actions, even in jest, can have significant consequences on those we care about. Helluva Boss makes me laugh, but it also makes me reflect deeply on my own life choices and relationships. So, thank you to the creators for crafting such layered characters and storylines. You've managed to blend humor and heartache in a way that truly resonates. This isn’t just a show about demons and chaos; it’s a narrative about the human experience, with all its complexities. I didn’t expect to be so affected by what seemed like a mere comedy, but here I am, emotionally invested and reflecting on my own journey. Can't wait to see where you take us next!"

If Blotzo dad wants him to steal from Stolis and his family…why didn’t the dad just make a sum amount of money when offered before the dad asked how much in how much is in his pocket.

*it would be too pricey or the dad just prefers stealing.*

Every episode of Helluva boss has a very strict warning that stays on screen for long enough to clearly read,that it's 100% only for adults..to possibly explain why they don't get hit that much with it.

Speaking as a neurodivergent person here, I don't know whether to be laughing my ass off, offended which would prove his point, or to just nod my head like "Indeed it does offend me when somebody does something incredibly smart and, I too, wish that I had a brain that functions". But I'm learning to be less upset and more driven to learn things so maybe that's a positive spin?
