Something I love about this episode is just how clearly Stolas does NOT need bodyguards. What he hired Blitzo for is to force him to spend time with him, and Stolas has a thing for being the one being saved all the time in the relationship. This is why he immediately is disappointed the one time M&M save him instead of Blitzo and why he doesn't bother pretending to be helpless anymore once he's thinking fully about his daughter at the end.

Fun Fact: Viv said that Stolas takes Baby Octavia to an actual dying solar system. Perfect setting for a lullaby!

If you didn't notice, stolas's wife didn't seem to be so mad about the cheating, but more mad of him cheating on her with an imp. (someone below them as rich royals) I mean, he didnt even try to explain why he cheated, he felt he needed to explain why he did it in the house and she responded with "a motel? Like a f***ing plebian?" And rather than saying something like she couldnt spend one more moment looking at his cheating face, she said "imp sucking face." I think this is really good evidence to show that she got mad that someone of his status cheated with an imp. I'm not sure if they were ever in love but there is a chance because in stolas's song he said "I used to think love would be fun". It was also hinted that they've been fighting for a while so idk if it was an arranged marriage or is they actually got married because of love at one time or what.

The song that Stolas sung made me cry, I'm currently seeing a girl who has a baby girl of her own and I really want to be a fatherly role model in her life because I never really had one in my life and I don't want the cycle to continue.

It seems that, from the lyrics, Stolas was bored and wanted something stable, so he tried to fall in love so that he would have something stay with him, but he rushed it and only found out later that the person he entered a relationship with was a person he did not love, and that She only got with him so that their status would be increased. Eventually, he had Octavia, and he suddenly had someone who would NEVER leave him. He could finally watch something change, but for the better instead of for the worse. He was happy for once and decided that he would never betray her like so many others have betrayed his happiness.

Hell yes! Love you guys reactions to this series. It’s one of my favorites. I love the dive into Stolas’ life, it was nice after two episodes of basically using him for the same joke.

I have a theory that the song Stolas sings to Octavia at the beginning of the episode is foreshadowing future events in the series. It's a song about the end of creation but he knows that she'll be okay. As if he knows that she will survive a future apocalyptic event but he won't. This is accompanied by specifically seven planets falling into a star before exploding. Seven planets to represent the seven rings of Hell and the star could be Heaven.

i really like how you guys actually stay quiet to actually listen ya know, not that i don't mind a few commentary here and there. Most reactors I've seen tend to talk way over the video and what not or pause it constantly to rant. you guys are great, Btw the wolf girl is named loona. The boss is Blitzo.

I get annoyed when reactors talk over the episode and end up missing important info but I really like it when reactors pause and do some reacting. I like Chad and Nikki but pausing to, you know, react, is just something I'm partial to.

@@47ratsinahoodie i dont like pausing only because it ruins the immersion of the video. and some reactors do it too much

@@Neo_suxxen Yeah, I guess that makes a little sense but they _are_ supposed to be reacting, not just sitting there passively. It's either talk over the vid or pause. I just find pausing better for information-heavy things.

In case it was either not mentioned, or unnoticed last Helluva Boss video you guys made, Moxxie, Millie, Blitzo, Stolas, etc etc, were born in Hell, so, like Charlie from Hazbin, they technically have no inherent reason to be bad people, other than how they were raised, and how everyone else acts- Moxxie is incredibly Empathetic and Charlie is very wholesome and hopeful for Demons being able to be better, for example. And regardless by technical standards, you could be a fine person, but just have sinned to end up in Hell, so, y'know-
