I’ve heard a lot of people judge Blitzø for not going to help Stolas, but he is keeping his priorities straight. Sure, the guy he kinda has feelings for is in danger, but he’s putting the health/well-being of his daughter first.

so true. tbf, Stolas would absolutely choose Via if the situations were reversed, and neither of them are wrong for that. Plus, Blitz doesn't just leave Stolas to fend for himself, sending M&M, and we also see that him being with Loona at the appointment was 100% necessary given how frenzied she got.

Let's not forget: Blitzø WAS going to help Stolas. He was pissed as hell that he was going to miss Loona's appointment, but he was going to go. Millie was the one who offered the alternative option.

I like to view Norman’s Striker voice is a more friendly facade to be able to disarm people while Ed Boscoe’s voice is Strikers’s actual voice. I think both voices are amazing.

So, pretty unfun fact about this episode. The B plot is how it is because of the recent death of voice actor Billy Kametz from colon cancer. His fiancé, Erica Lindbeck, and VA of Loona, was understandably hit very hard by this, and was in a heavy mourning period during production of this episode. So, her B plot was written around Loona having no speaking lines, and iirc, the remainder of the episodes currently out also shy away from prominently featuring her.

Again with this? Vivienne has already made it clear that Loona does not speak much in the second season because they did not have enough funds to pay the voice actors and decided to save money by giving Loona few lines in the first part of the second season. She also said that she regrets not having Loona speak in this episode, she thought it was nice to show this side of Loona ( and she was right, for me). The recordings of the voice actors are done YEARS in advance, now in fact they are recording for the third season which we will see in a few years.

I personally loved Ed Bosco's striker just as much as norman reedus, if not more. I mean, yes, he was the OG striker and its never the same, but Edward does an AMAZING job. The deep grit he brings to his voice just makes him more intimidating ans threatening.

During the scuffle at the hospital between Loona and Blitz, i think loona was definitely holding back more than blitz was. She could have easily done a lot more damage to him if she wanted to, but she held back, not wanting to hurt her dad too much. I mean, look at what she did to those dhork agents in truth seekers she even decapitated a few of them. She could definitely rip Blitz apart, but she would never do that to her adoptive father.

I love your reactions to this series, your commentary and genuine interest makes for a really good re-watch of the episodes, I’m glad you’re enjoying them :) I don’t know if you take suggestions for shows, but I would like to recommend Rise of the TMNT, I’ve never recommended it to anyone cause tbh I’m a little scared of people hating on it (it’s my favorite show) but maybe you’ll enjoy it (it’s ok if u don’t and if u don’t watch it) A lot of people didn’t like the different take on the turtles but I personally love it (and I love all the other TMNT series as well!). It starts a little slow since it’s their “rise”, they’re becoming the turtles they’re meant to be! Fights and animation in general are pretty cool, and the relationships as really wholesome and heartwarming to me. Anyways, excited to see more reactions for this show and other as well :D

Stolas is an Owl of course while Andrelphus is a Peacock. Stella is an original creation so she lacks a domain or powers and is a Peahen (Originally ment to be an Owl)

To be honest I got really mad at blitz at this episode for not showing affection as stolas do, stolas intentions are very clear about wanting something more from blitz while the only thing he gives back is dry texting. He didn't even visit stolas at the hospital !!!

Cuz his dumbass (affectionate) just cannot believe it's genuine OR that anything good will come from it if it is genuine it sounds so dumb but I think the kinda fucked up shit he's got going on upstairs walks his intrusive thoughts in circles everytime someone tries to get close with him, convincing himself it can't be true because he can't handle the implications if it is He knows stolas feels something more than just fuck buddies (he does too) but he's too scared to confront it He's clinging onto the lie that it means nothing because that's what's comfortable for him I think going to see stolas would've been too real so he avoided it, if he doesn't see him like that, he won't feel as guilty for not being there (he probably clings to all the times stolas gave him mixed messages/what he saw as rejection, so he doesnt take things likes stolas' texts to heart, always looking for the catch like with their deal for the book.)
