While Norman Reedus was good, what I love about Edwards Striker, is that it feels like he can actually sound more realistically angry Norman’s voice was cool but I don’t think he would be able to pull the same tone of pure hatred and sadistic disgust that Striker has when he addresses Stolas or talks about the demon royalty Also I do agree that while a theme song is fine, having them keep carrying on and following you everywhere, especially when you are trying to actually get work done, would be god man infuriating In fact i defended this quite a few times with that same point Striker is a professional, he’s not about wasting time or dealing with BS, so when you have the one guy keeping the song going on, it would totally be in Strikers character to lose it and have enough with never being left alone. It’s also why Striker is thrown off by the sex talk, he’s a professional, having that kind of stuff in a serious moment is totally out of his element.

That line "He can be hurt?" hit me so hard when I watched it. Because Stolas and Blitz have a huge sado-masochism thing going on. They play with bear traps for fuck's sake. That bird can take anything Blitz throws at him. But also, this is after the incident at Ozzie's, after the episode with the DHORKS where we find out Blitz puts Stolas up on a pedestal. Absolutely, that line has a double-meaning. He blames himself for every relationship gone wrong and actively acts like an asshole to try to keep people away from them, probably because he's scared of hurting them like he hurt everyone else in his life. And you notice where, before, he'd just say whatever, but now (because he now knows Stolas can get hurt) he's reluctant to say anything in case it hurts him.

Holy fuck i missed you Bosco. I remember watching the old Hazbin huniecast streams with Ashley and Michael. Hearing your personality brought on a wave of almost nostalgia given how old they are now. Ok I HAVE THOUGHTS in no particular order: It’s worth noting that Stolas doesn’t realize he can get hurt either. His tone on the phone with Blitzo is so flippant. Stolas only realizes the danger when he’s in Striker’s lair. At the end when Stolas is in the hospital-I see the flower petals falling as Stolas thinking “he loves me, he loves me not”. It mirrors his relationship with Blitzo. I think Blitzo doesn’t text back a lot because he still thinks Stolas sees him as a sex toy. Blitzo is actively trying not to show or catch feelings. Why is Blitzo going to such an incompetent/clueless vet?? As a musician, I’m a little upset that we’re baited with a mariachi band when we don’t hear mariachi. It’s interesting that both Blitzo & Stolas are showing that their daughters are their #1 priority. Blitzo is taking care of Loona and Stolas fights back when Striker brings up Via. I like that Striker is starting to get fleshed out. What was taken from him?? Why?? This season has had a lot of dick jokes, so I’m desensitized to Striker’s statue’s bulge. I was really hoping Striker would be restrained by it when the statue fell on him. I wanted it to mean something. Ed slayed this episode.

I view both versions of Striker that we've seen so far as the real him, because he was dealing with very different people each time. The first version we saw was when he was around other imps. But this version is the him that comes out when he's interacting with Royals. We all have different sides that we show different people, Striker is no different.

I thought nothing could happen to my grandma. She was a bad bitch but she was taken from us when a 16 year old clipped her back drivers side tire just right and flipped her truck 2 1/2 times...my brother who was with her remembers her trying to stand up after getting ejected. (She was not wearing her seatbelt) The other crappy part is she died 3 days before his 18th birthday. She had planned on taking him to get his learners permit...He drives now but I remember him being so scared of being in a vehicle for the longest time. July 23rd will be 17 years since that happened.

The way i see it bosco, you nailed the role but in a different way then Norman did. He was the smooth talking conman that persuasion rolled his ass into the right locations, but you're the angry rebel that went full rogue and was so close. But make no mistake, it's a treat to watch regardless.

Well, Striker IS a cowboy... he does very likely embellish... hence the ah... "adornment" on his statue. That said it's been clear to me that him being beaten earlier is a sore spot for him. Him being beaten again is going to be eating at him and he's going to unravel. His original personality is likely a facade he puts on in order to get in close to Stolace.
