It's sad because I honestly get both perspectives. Moxxie has always been the underdog. Underestimated and put down by his boss, his father, and Millie's family. And there's usually always a scenario where his self esteem is further lowered or he gets embarrassed or beat up. Then, the one time he actually gets to try something as a leader, the mystery is super obvious and no one likes him anyway. But, on the OTHER hand, Millie from both a meta standpoint and in universe has never really gotten to stand out. Her sister is seen as better at her in certain aspects and she doesn't really get her own solo plotline or arcs like other characters. This is her shot at finally taking the spotlight onto herself. And she feels hurt that Moxxie isn't supporting her. I genuinely feel bad for both of them and am glad they were able to sort through their feelings in the end.

@@acrab6527 I mean, it doesn't have to be explicitly spelled out that Moxxie has issues with confidence/being liked. He saw how his kindness blew up in his face in Episode 1 of S1, how Millie's family treating him poorly made him feel worthless, how he secretly had a bit of resentment towards Blitzo for how he treated him in episode 6 of S1. That constant lack of confidence/desire to prove himself had to come from somewhere. And I disagree about your point about Millie. So much. People can be great at things. Amazing at things. Perfect at them. And that person can still have issues. Just because a person is talented does not mean they don't get to have feelings or emotions. A character seeming perfect but actually having something going on beneath the surface happens all the time. Why would you intentionally not give character development to certain characters? You can have characters who don't change majorly while still having them go through their own arc. That's called being consistent.

@@acrab6527 It's not about wanting people to like him. It's about proving himself worthy. This is the first time, in his eyes, that Blitz has trusted him to lead, and he feels the need to prove he's worth it. So he put together the "most precise" and "flawless" plan... and immediately, everything falls apart. The suspect is immediately known without any of his work, his plan to infiltrate and investigate is immediately destroyed by no one wanting to talk to him, and he can't even look for clues because everyone is so focused on Millerd. To him, this is every possible way that his first opportunity to prove himself as a leader can go wrong. Was it right to take it out on Millie? Of course not, which is why they fought about it. But it fits his personality and motivations perfectly.

@@acrab6527 1. Rescuing Stolas wasn't a job. 2. Moxxie wasn't in charge of that, it was Moxxie and Millie together, which is a different status to prove. 3. I didn't miss the "look at me me me" part of the song, but that wasn't the core of WHY he wanted the attention, only THAT he wanted it. 4. YOU missed his entire reaction from the moment Blitz told him to take care of it, all the way up until he started talking to the Mean Girl Clique. Everything about what he said and his expression and his actions was "I need to prove myself worthy of being in charge since I'm never in charge; everything has to go perfectly".

There are a lot of theories going on right now in the fandom: I think Blitz must done some terrible things kinda.. like killing his mother (by accident of course) by burning down the family circus area... But that could be the thing why Barbi was addicted to drugs and that also ruined their relationship with Fizzarolli (Lost his limbs and become a Robot) who was also a good friend.. and Blitz doesn't get how he's hurting others, no self-reflection and Barb is like.. her face expression her voice.. she's kinda mad i guess she must be very broken. I think it's really cool you guys said this episode was your favorite so far. Overall this episode didn't go over well with the fandom, the majority of fans couldn't handle the 2nd hand embarrassment watching "moxxine" so it's cool to see a different perspective 😃 While it wasn't my favorite I still enjoyed "Moxxine" and "Millerd" as Mary Sue jokes. That trope is often seen as insufferable but millerd was more likeable than moxxine because he downplayed being good at everything where as moxxine was obnoxiously "look at me I'm perfect" to the point of being uncomfortable to watch but I think that was the point 🤣

Sinners have the benefit of a higher status than most of the denizens of hell and are able to use that to get power,money,and influence. Also, iirc, the billboard did say something about payments taking a few weeks if it comes by mail, and because he doesn't have a good business sense, Blitz is probably undervaluing these jobs.

I agree, easily the best episode of season 2. Truth Seekers, the MiB episode still the best. Moxxie had WAY too much fun at the start of the episode with the crossdressing and roleplaying. Didn't notice on the first watch, but that Millie's volleyboll spike at 6:43 and the crater it leaves really reminds me of that Yamcha crater scene in Dragonball. I wouldn't be surprised if it was an intentional reference.

Or possibly have a Blitz and Fizz episode were they focus on the two brothers’ stories on how Fizz got his robotic limps and Blitz’s white scars on him.
