Stolas joining I.M.P. could be foreshadowed on 11:36 especially considering the hints dropped in the show. Stolas's expertise in paperwork and management could balance out I.M.P.'s chaotic tendencies. Plus, his dynamic with Blitzø suggests he could keep the team in line. Loona could also benefit from having more help on missions. Overall, it's an intriguing possibility hinted at in the series.

I love this episode. The backstory of their first encounter till now is really cute and sad at the same time. They don't have a true friendship, Stolas's father buy Blitzø and then Blitzø's father said to Blitzø that he has to steal everything he can. But they were their real self when they play along and in the under the tree scene (maybe it's a foreshadowing move and Stolas will work for Blitzø someday). But then at nowadays they are in no good terms and Stolas has the same make-up "tears" like Gabriella. But now he wants to change, he wants Blitzø to be alright with his job, he fights back Stella and he is trying to figure it out how he can live in the next future.

Stolas being more comfortable around/attracted to imps makes so much sense when you realize he was raised by them, spent all his time with them, and most of his positive experiences in life have revolved about the impish staff in his mansion. His infant nursemaid was an imp. The butler's an imp, the kitchen staff... Being around the other goetia must feel uncomfortable to someone who looks like them but is not like them at all.

It was never really a relationship. It was all fake and formal. There's a brilliant twist here, because in the beginning, stolas was cast s a cheater, and pretty much everyone in the show who knew saw it as such. he was the unfaithful husband who was chasing after blitz because of lust, and this is highlighted last episode. That's the view of any person on the outside looking in, even to blitz, and that belief hurts him because he want's a real family. But here we suddenly see the situation is completely different. Stolas isn't chasing after blitz out of lust because of being unsatisfied with his wife. Stella isn't constantly mad at stolas simply because he cheated on her. instead, Stolas is chasing after his childhood crush because of a longing for freedom. the freedom to be with who he really loves. AFTER having tried and failed to satisfy stella and make everything work. he's not truly a cheater. not in my eyes. This is so sad, because blitz doesn't even realize he has exactly what he wants with stolas.

Stolas isn't entitled, or feels superior to others. If he has, or is, then it's because he's been forced to think this way. Look at when he bowed to greet Blitz and his father hit him for it, sweetly revealing his true character. Stella is his antithesis. Stolas is capable of love, despite being a spawn of the Dork Lard. Or, is it the Dark Lord? Point is, he's starting to truly think for himself for the first time in his life. I suspect his abilities are key to his character. Like, he can see the stars. He is naturally prophetic, which I assume represents his growing ability to choose his own future. Even more poignant, he can rise above Hell and actually leave it. All brilliantly symbolic. I love a show that makes you think like this. This episode took you, pushed you into a deep hole and plummeted you down to entirely new levels of depth, ESPECIALLY as far as Stolas is concerned. I've watched it twice since I discovered it was available, a couple of hours ago. The song Stolas sings is exquisite. 😀

The S02 premier has gone unexpectedly deeper, adding poignancy and true depth of character development to an entirely new level. It was a stroke of genius for the writers to fashion it this way. Think about it. S01 had only 8 episodes. From the pilot to S02 they have transformed Stolas. Actually, the pilot does a brilliant job of establishing the character dynamics, in only 11 minutes! Many people in the comments say they hated Stolas. Now, his popularity has soared. This is rare, especially in such a short time. This explains why it's worth looking for hidden metaphors and symbolism.
