To those saying Ozzie and Fizz were hypocrites, well, they weren't. Ozzie's was a place focused on lust, not romance though the latter isn't forbidden. As Ozzie and Fizz demonstrate in the latest episodes, it is possible to have lust and romance. Moxxie's song was sweet, to be sure, but it was also killing the mood for everyone else; changing it from lust to something else. As for Stolas and Blitzo, Ozzie was celebrating Stolas for giving up literally everything for an imp, while admonishing Blitzo for being false and toying with someone else's feelings for... what, exactly? To deliberately be somebody else's third wheel? If he wants what M & M have, maybe he should open his eyes.

It should be noted: While Asmodeus and FIzz are definitely Antagonists this episode, they aren't really being irredeemable or "villainous" to Moxxie. oh they definitely were rude for interrupting his song, BUT if you pay attention to when Oz and FIzz sing, they're musically trying to point out to Moxxie that his song is disrupting the Lust vibes the establishment is supposed to have (which is proven with how most of the customers look put off when Moxxie sings) and instead of kicking him off the stage they simply tell him to rework his song to fit with the vibe, then return the spotlight to him so he can continue singing to Millie. it's a fairly nice way of showing they aren't assholes and are willing to work with someone since, despite Moxxie's wonderful song, this wasn't the place for that. kudos to Moxxie and Millie though for not giving a crap and just being them

What’s kind of funny and interesting is that despite the two of them ridiculing M&M’s more romantic-leaning relationship, Fizz and Oz are shown to have a relationship that’s more reminiscent of two gremlin theatre kid bffs than the hypersexual and physical lust they glorify. Of course, they don’t have to be engaged, but even in their parts of the song, they dance and sing around each other more platonically; reading as sexually aware and active bffs that don’t may or may not get it on with each other but are each other’s hype man. That's not the feeling I get from Stolas at all. It seems to me Stolas actually wants a legitimate relationship with Blitzo, but because of his station he can't let on that he has actual feelings for him. Asmodeus has a point though: It is a pretty big turn-off to hear a sappy (if sweet) love song at somewhere people go to satisfy their lust. I don't think he a problem with romance, since lust can still exist in love. Just they don't fit his establishment.

In the Inferno, the lovers being punished weren't people who had lots of sex, but people who's love and desire drove them to act against what would be considered the morally "rational" thing to do (i.e. not cheating on your wife). As Ozzie says: "You sold your life for a thrust/ Now thats the spirit of Lust"

For the literal embodiment of a sin, Asmodeus isn't even too bad of a guy. A guy breaks the rules of his restaurant, so he reminds him of the rules and gives him another chance. He only kicks him out after breaking it again (and his girlfriend knocked his biggest performer nearly unconscious). He also doesn't really judge Stolas for sleeping with an imp, he even celebrates it a bit, though he did judge him a slight bit for cheating on his wife.

There's clearly some amount of feelings on both sides, more obviously from Stolas but also subtly in how Blitz acts after they leave. When someone gets too close with him, he's conditioned himself to push them away, but it's more than that; he's convinced himself that Stolas is only interested in the sex, an idea which Ozzie inadvertently reinforces by calling their relationship "the spirit of lust," to the point where he slightly snaps at Stolas: "...don't act like what we have is anything more than you wanting me to fuck you, okay? *You make that really clear, all the time.*" But that's not how Blitz feels, really. The first photo in his gallery, which serves as a list of what he had and could have still had, is a sweet picture of them just cuddling, as if their relationship were going well. It's clearly something he wants, but he's emotionally unprepared for it; he hates his selfish, self-destructive behavior that ends every relationship he starts, and he doesn't want it to happen again. He's scribbled himself out of every printed photo in his living room.

Asmodeus’s design is fucking amazing with the detail. It isn’t just random features designed to look cool, he’s actually based on descriptions and depictions of the demon lord Asmodeus. Two additional heads (one of a sheep and one of a bull), jagged teeth, rooster’s feathers, and goat’s legs. Only things that are missing is a serpent’s tail and human face, but I can understand them being removed for the sake of character design.
