Lyrics:
So many things,
I didn't say,
Is it too late now that you've gone away?
So many words,
So many ways,
If you can hear me now, there's something I gotta say.
Just one more talk,
Just one more turn,
If one's too much then..
I just want to say,
Thank you,
For everything,
You ever done for me,
(done for me)
I just want to say,
Thank you,
For all the things,
For saving me,
(Saving me)

Vinnie Paul, I had plans on meeting you one day. I wanted to tell you how much your brother inspired me and how much of a role model he was to me. I'll never get that chance to tell you in person but right now I'm telling your spirit that lingers with us right now through your music. Thank you so much, not just for forming what I consider to be the greatest Metal band in the world with your little brother but for also being an inspiration and a fun, loving, humble and caring guy to those around you. Your legacy and memory will live on forever. Say hello to Dime for me and everyone else. Getcha pull!

They both put their hearts out there with Metal with Pantera, Damageplan and then Vinnie with Hellyeah all three bands put out amazing music and I actually got the chance to see Hellyeah and meet the band they all are great Vinnie paul was incredible to see though he put on an amazing drum solo and he was extremely personable to everyone who came up to him he took the time to talk to you and actually listened which was an outstanding experience.

Every time I hear this song I think of my dad who died when I was 11 years old. It has been almost 32 years and it doesn't get any easier. I never got to say goodbye to him. I was Daddy's Little Girl and I went everywhere with him. He taught me how to fish and everything outdoors. He raised a tomboy. To my dad this one is for you. I love and miss you so much. Till we meet again on the other side.

They just wanted to take another one of ours we love from us & to put Vinnie through 14 years of isolated misery without his brother who was his best friend! I just had my cat (her name is meanie) of almost 20 years put down yesterday and even though she was a cat, she taught me how to be a fighter, do what you gotta do to protect and provide for your family, and was the furry little daughter I never had, but had the fortune of raising. I'm still cryin as I'm writing this and it's hard to imagine shes gone when I see her everywhere I look in my house. When I knew it was her time to rest, I had to hear this song to help me prep my self for saying goodbye to my little girl. Thank you meanie for all the special moments a nobody pet owner like me got to enjoy like you cuddling up to me and sleeping while I played video games or watched TV, or how feisty you were playing with a shoe string, and how time and time again you outlived some of our best pets and showed me to keep goin in life and dont give up. Rest easy now my little fighter. Poppa will see you again someday my little meanie. R.I.P vinnie Paul R.I.P dimebag Darrell, R.I.P Meanie. 😥😢😭🐱🐈🐾🕯💔💔

I still can't believe Vinny and Dime are both gone now. Never got meet Dime but met Rita at a Hellyeah show. Vinny and the rest of Hellyeah at an after-party in Chicago. Many other times in the backstage room before shows. Think I've seen them at least 10 times. RIP guys, we all miss you beyond words.

Vin man, thank you! Thanks to your parents for raising a pair of the best brothers in metal, and the entire music industry! It's sad to see you go, but heartwarming to know that you're getting to see Dime again, I can't begin to pretend to know what you felt that night, and just the other night. I hope you weren't alone, as no one deserves to die alone. I want you and Dime to know that skidballs around the globe thank you both for having saved us, and we're sad to see you go, but look forward to seeing you again later. As they say, only the good die young, so you both better be up there, cuz y'all had many more years ahead of you! Love you guys, sincerely, a skidball

No doubt Texas is patriotic but contrary to popular belief California also loves America. How so one might ask? Very easily - the children of California veterans who have service connected injuries or were KIA get to attend any UC or State U for free. Few states if any do this ... Tell me that's not showing love to us veterans and our children.

Saw this band with my step dad back when they played the family values tour. Awesome set, then my step dad got them to sign their album for us and walk away from the meet and greet they were doing to say hi. Josh just left the world a few months back, and I played this at his funeral. Still find myself wishing I called to shoot the shit more, you know when I could.

So many things, I didn't say, Is it too late now that you've gone away? So many words, So many ways, If you can hear me now, there's something I gotta say. Just one more talk, Just one more turn, If one's too much then.. I just want to say, Thank you, For everything, You ever done for me, (done for me) I just want to say, Thank you, For all the things, For saving me, (Saving me) So many times, So many days, You helped me through, Walked me through the rain, So many tears, Have washed away, If you can hear my voice, There's something I have to say.. Just one more talk, Just one more turn, If one's too much then.. I just want to say, Thank you, For everything, You ever done for me, (done for me) I just want to say, Thank you, For all the things, For saving me, (Saving me) It's been so long, They say time will heal everything, Could you send me a sign, To fill the soul in my life, Turn on a light, To help me see through it all, No one left to rescue me, Save me... Just one more talk, Just one more turn, If one's too much then.. I just want to say, Thank you, For everything, You ever done for me, (done for me) I just want to say, Thank you, For all the things, For saving me, (Saving me) I just want to say.. Thank you, Mother, Thank you, Father, Thank you, Sister, For Saving me.. I just want to say, Thank you, Brother, Thank you, Sister, Thank you, To all best friends..

Honestly, while it still is sad, to see Vinnie Paul go, try to remember this: I think that Dime and Vinnie would not want us to be sad that they’re gone, but be happy that they lived. And they made so much great music, and even us, the younger generation to carry the torch for Texas Metal.
