This series looks to be including details that Dan's series,currently, hasn't time to provide; the history of the chateau. I'm so glad he's partnering with this series. They are adding great value to his hard work as well as introducing us to others doing similar projects. I love the oral and visual sketches that portray what life might have been like in these places originally. I love this! So glad they used Dan and his project to introduce it. I might otherwise not have taken a look.

The chateau owners in France are all very special. The buildings are money pits but they are loved and cared for by their devoted owners. Many know each other and they seem to have a support network. They contribute so much to their communities.

This is "Help we bought a Village," a BBC show featuring several properties each episode. It's not a show about Dan and Chaumont. For Chaumont-only content, you need to stick with Dan's channel, Escape to Rural France.

I follow dan from escape to rural France, I would love to watch more but I can't stand the narrator voice😅...simply can't! I know Dan would love for us to support but I rather listen to a young dynamic voice narrating instead of old and whispering voice. Too bad.
