@@brinnd330 What about Palestine? Hamas has vowed to exterminate all Jewish people from the earth which is GENOCIDE. Also the Jews purchased that land which was untenanted, btw. Do you even know that? Anyway if anyone in the USA has a bug up their ass about "stolen land", they're LIVING ON IT. Give up your home to a Native person first, then we'll talk about "stolen" land in other countries. Who will put their money where their big fat mouth is? Who will be the first American who owns land and a home to give it back to the people who rightfully owned it when it was taken from them? I have not seen ONE American offer to make it right here on our own soil so they can just STFU about other countries until they do.

I have suffered for a year. The fatigue and brain fog are brutal. The pain is brutal. My anxiety and depression started after getting Covid and it hasn’t let up. I have 11 doctors on my team and they just pass me on to another doctor. Nobody wants to prescribe any medications. I belong to several support groups online and people get on nearly every day to say goodbye to the group as they intended to take their own lives that night. We need help. I know Big Pharma doesn’t care unless they can make billions. We just need help.

Thank You, Senator Bernie Sanders. Long Covid is very similar to Chronic Lyme Disease and Tick Borne Co-infections and diseases. I hope both illnesses will be addressed with more serious financial support and disability considerations. Lyme Disease is increasing, as are pandemics, alongside Climate Change. Chronic Inflammation can be deadly. Especially Heart Inflammation and Brain Inflammation, very serious long term results. I have both Long Covid and Chronic Lyme and Tick Borne Illness. I know all about dealing with long haul covid. I was the 8th person in the state of NH to get covid when it first hit the USA in early 2020 (meaning the 8th person who tested positive. I suspect there were many others who had mild covid, and they never got tested). I was basically bed ridden for 8 month. Didn't have many symptoms, I was just total exhausted from low oxygen levels and had no sense of taste or smell. It took all my energy just to get out of bed and go to the bathroom, and had to hire someone to do my grocery shopping and carry all my groceries up to my 3rd floor apartment. All and all I'm in pretty good health and I was in my late 50s. So I'm living proof LONG covid is real. It took many months before VA hospital sent me a breathing machine which immensely improved my oxygen levels, energy levels and ability to start leading a relatively normal life.

There are so many in this country that need help but there's none and there's next to no safety net. Our system needs to be overhauled for everyone regardless of diagnosis. Most other countries, at the least, have support for chronic illnesses. There's nothing in the US. It's beyond time that changed. I had one shining summer of being healthy, 2018, then a new chronic fatigue set in during the fall. We thought the lyme was back, but I didn't respond to the treatments anymore. It took until 2021 that we realized it was something different. I got the covid vaccine in the late spring of 2021, and I got so much worse. With the symptoms worsening, I knew it was different from lyme. I happened on a video describing ME/CFS, and it fit. One doctor said ME/CFS was overblown, but my primary care provider believed me. We now figure I developed mild ME/CFS after clearing the chronic lyme out. Then, unfortunately, the covid vaccine exaserbated it to moderate ME/CFS. Now I'm just waiting, trying to live as comfortably as possible. Oh, and I have found some relief with Low-dose Naltrexone.

The symptoms of long haul are hard to explain, the severity of brain fog feels like a concussion or brain injury for most of us. The fatigue is crushing as in everything is heavy and you have to fall down it feels like the flu without the stuffy nose and this can be from just trying to fill out paperwork. It’s a terrible disease and we have been disowned, disbelieved, and dismissed. This is a good step. Love you Bernie. For the senator who interrupted about physical therapy… you are the problem. To answering the question about why don’t you exercise even a little- the new research is showing mitochondrial damage when we do. It literally is doing damage to our cells they cannot breath. Thank you for some attention to this life altering disease that has taken my 30’s and turned them into a battle. We need financial support or we are going to have a lot of homeless sick people right around the corner. We need medicine or we will have a lot of hopelessness- and suicide. We need help now.

My sister has long COVID and was unable to receive the care she needed for 2 years, she was turned away by multiple, multiple healthcare workers who blew it off as anxiety, everything these women are describing is true. Finally in 2023, she started working with a health professional who is currently researching the disease, and is actively experimenting with potential treatments for it. My sister is in pain and exhausted all day every day, she often throws up just from the exhaustion of standing. My family is white, many of us cannot afford healthcare due to the decreasing demand for employees and our mental disabilities/disorders, all of us who experience these have been denied disability due to our age or purported ability to work, and she has experienced everything that Ms. Vasquez is claiming to be a race issue. I really wish everything didn't have to be about race and gender these days, but I know the racial divide is only in its infancy. I can only hope that we can all eventually realize that we're all people, and your skin color is not the reason that the healthcare system doesn't care about you, they don't care about anyone but their sponsors and others who find them.

Especially after the dems really rallied around aca during the Obama administration. Where did everyone go? We should never allow the regression of gains towards universal healthcare. We went backwards.😢

My 47 year old son and I have been struggling since Dec. 2021, i had second infection of Omynicron in 2022. My son has been to countless drs., specialists his hair falling out in small patches, tinnitus, cfs/me pots symptoms now losing his balance and providers pretend its anxiety or worse hypochondria?!!! He was a hard worker commercial door installer over 20 years!! Strong active family man...we've been let down by medical system so many times we're trying our best to encourage eachother but even our own families think we're just nuts its so isolating WE NEED HELP!!! we're indigenous from desert sw i think our immunity already compromised so easy to latch onto us genetically...possibly? We are using supplements, herbs, oils teas anything...😢we are alive but not living the grief is unbearable 💔

Volume on the last two speakers is not understandable. Can you correct it and repost? I would love to be able to hear both doctors in the last two thirds of the video.

damn.. say what u want about the guy but i don’t see any well known people talk about it like this. wasn’t a huge fan of his prior but we need more of this. i’m 24 yo male struggling to live when i was at the gym 5x a week a year ago.. doctors: “it’s anxiety” ..

Two things I have not had covid or the vaccine ! And the people in my family that got covid treated it with the medication that Bernie sad we was not allowed to use and none of them had long term effects! It’s the people in the medical community that are causing death !
