Mob farm + iron farm, make them fight whilst you reap the rewards.

An Enderman or Wither farm might be good for this, since they can kill each other quickly. But a miscellaneous mob farm? Zombies, Skeletons and Spiders would take ages to kill even a single Golem, and eventually it would fill up with Creepers.

The timing of this is interesting, because I have an Iron Farm design that I'm currently making a tutorial for. Some of the concepts that I'm implementing I got/learned from some of your previous videos. It will also be awesome to see what other people come up with!

I'm working on a combo iron farm and raid farm right now. Iron golems spawn and are immediately lifted up with bubble columns without needing to be pushed by a water stream, clearing the spawning space ASAP. The golems can fight the raiders for reduced drops, or switch into player killing mode for looting. EDIT: dunno if I can make the appointed time :(

@@thunderd7904 it's pretty straightforward. Put a piece of soul sand above the villagers' heads, making sure it's above the center block. Build a 7x7 platform centered on this soul sand on the same level as the soul sand. Replace each corner block of this platform with soul sand. Also replace the middle block on each edge with soul sand. So now you should have a platform with 9 soul sand blocks arranged in a grid, with 2 blocks between each soul sand. Then, on top of this platform, place four 2x2 pads of shroomlights such that the corner of each 2x2 pad is touching a soul sand. These are the golem spawning pads. Now you'll have a platform with raised spawning pads and trenches surrounding these spawning pads so that water doesn't go onto the pads. Build up walls made of solid blocks (glass is fine) around the outer edge if the 7x7 platform. Make this wall at least 16 blocks high. On the center point of these walls, place a scaffolding. Using those scaffolding pieces as a starting point, fill the central 7x7 area with scaffolding to make a solid platform out if scaffolding. Waterlog the nine scaffolding blocks directly above the soul sand. Go into the spawning area, and use kelp and bone meal to make bubble columns from the soul sand. Go back and remove the water from the scaffolding, this will make the golems go up through scaffolding. Now you can design whatever collection system above the scaffolding that you want. Use water currents to push the golems into a lava blade and capture the iron.

Idea is shat you should mine 10 villages completely, save villagers and have them in the middle being scared. also a chunk loader, and a stream to push the golems to a main collection facility. Note: this can be done with witches too

idea: 2 command blocks. 1 set to "summon minecraft:iron_golem" and the other set to "kill @e[type=minecraft:iron golem]". boom. maximum efficiency whilst being as small as possible
