What if the church is already aware my husband is going through cancer? Should they call and arrang eto meet with him and pray?

Yes, They should come and meet with your husband and pray over him.And someone from the church should be coming for regular visits to do the same and to see if they can be of any help to you. I'm sorry that is not happening.
