The Courage to Keep Going - Dr. Charles Stanley

Do you want to give up on your marriage, job, children, financial situation, or other personal struggle? We often feel tempted to quit when we’re in the middle of such difficult circumstances, but giving up is not consistent with who we are as followers of Jesus Christ.

I am 15 years old and all my life I've been an atheist. You have a purpose brother and that is to use your experiences to help others in Jesus name. If you really want Christ in your heart ask him inside and believe he died for our sins. He is real trust me I have seen him do miracles in my life and others. Dr Stanley is legit. Your uncle did his part and passed on the message. Jesus wants a real relationship where we live for him and let me tell you when you do you’ll be the happiest you’ve ever been with the most peace. Just be aware the enemy is always going to try and separate you from God through whatever distraction either object or person. Reject him and watch what God does for you bro.

"..And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say to him, 'What doest thou?'" - Bible; Book of Daniel Ch. 4 Verse 35. King Nebuchadnezzar said this. The King of Babylon 602-562 BCE, 1st whole earth empire King. Made so by GOD. This is his message unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in the earth..even it is for you and I today, so this message in the Bible..the Bible also includes from a King..the greatest and first earthen King there will ever be or ever has been among men..only Jesus Christ is greater because Nebuchadnezzar is of Adam and flesh and GOD did not make him to sit on a throne forever; but Nebuchadnezzar's reign and was the 1st world kingdom was overthrown thinking GOD made his to last forever..he was cut down and another of lesser power and strength replaced it. King Nebuchadnezzar's confession came after he was cut off. Cut off by GOD and sent as a mad man to eat grass in the field after Nebuchadnezzar boasted to himself claiming he was God or all the earth was nourished by his doing...as if Nebuchadnezzar did all things by his own power. After being cut off and entirely alone, debased as a beast of the field, humbled like an oxen...Nebuchadnezzar stated this to all the earth..when as a stump..he was restored as King..he confessed it was GOD himself that did the work. That it is GOD alone that made all things..and it is he alone that does according to his will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth ..not Nebuchadnezzar... and every man..are reputed as nothing to him against his great power. This is a word to you from a King. The greatest King man that ruled the whole earth... a message he would want you to know. He testifies to a void he cannot fill..but GOD has made Jesus Christ a life giving spirit to fill the whole earth and will reign forever as King of Kings and LORD of Lords. - - - 1. O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever. 2. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; 3. This really helped a lot. I've struggled with giving up on...well basically checking out early, you could say. But I always remember that it's selfish. Not only to God, but to my family. We've been through so much these past years and I don't want me to be another problem, and even if I did check out early, who'd be there to comfort my mom when she's down? Who'd be there to play video games with my brother every day? Who'd be there to pet our dog when my mom and brother are off at work? I may be a failure in society's eyes, but not in God's eyes.

Update - a couple of months ago I posted a comment & just want to thank anyone who commented or prayed for me. I appreciate it very much. I am very thankful & happy to report that I have literally experienced the Lord working in my life miraculously! When I thought there was no hope that things would ever get better they have! I realized that the very things I was struggling & asking the Lord to help me with & in giving them to him, I was still focusing on the those things & not being able to focus on being safe in His loving hands. So In reality I realized I was not truly giving them up to Him. I had no problem wanting to give them over to Him, I just did not know how. I heard Charles Stanley say one day that if we pray for help & still focus on the problem it’s not going to happen for us! It finally clicked that I was ignorantly still not surrendering all to Him. I was allowing incredible fear to become bigger than God & Christ. I did not know how to get over that fear. I was traumatized as a child a number of times & I never really realized it was all inside me. The Lord had brought it out. I also had experienced some health issues & lost several people in December of 2020 into 2022, which escalated my fear. It has been almost two years now. I guess we never think that shocking things may occur in our lives. I was never in a hospital a day in my life. I was never sick or had any health issues, so this became incredibly shocking & made me hopeless along with the fear. I found my self in a situation where It was inevitable that I was going to need surgery. I was afraid to have surgery because of the fear of surgery, or even thinking or having it. I kept trying to control my decision to avoid it all because I was so scared. I never stopped spending every day praying & speaking to the Lord & reading the Psalms & holding on to His promises in the scriptures that I believe were for those who it was written to originally, but I truly believe they were also written for us to learn from & that God may have done miracles for them at the time, but yes, He still works exactly like He did back then! He does the same things He did with those of past times & He still does the same for us, but according to our situation in our time. So we still have the same promises according to His will in our lives. I finally came to a point where I surrendered it all & just let it go. I woke up one morning & I had no fear & was aware that something was happening that was amazing & I was able to face it & saw a surgeon for a consultation. I new the Father had led me to the right person. I had the surgery this past Monday morning & it was amazing to see the Lord work miraculously the day of my surgery. I new I had to face it & just did it & put my total life in his hands & I new the Lord would be with me. I just new! I followed through & the day before surgery I just happened to be looking at pictures of a double rainbow for some reason & download the pic. The next morning when my wife drove me to the surgery center a wonderful friend came to support me & they took a pic of my wife & myself in the empty parking lot at 6:30am. Low & behold, there just happened to be a double rainbow behind us in the sky & I was thinking people of true faith, we never rely upon a sign, not that it’s wrong, but I was completely convinced that The Lord was speaking to me loud & clear. He was there! I went in & they prepared me for surgery & I was not scared or nervous or anything. I walked in to the operating room & Iied down & they administered the anesthesia, I woke up & it was all over! It was like you never new you what happened. I was just at awe! I walked out about 20 minutes after I woke up that’s how fast I recovered from the anesthesia. The Lord new that this was going to take me to a a whole other level and it would change so many things in my life & how I look at things & how I can trust Him & how my attitude has changed at looking at everything now. But to just always know that He goes before us & He is always there & He is always listening even though we may think he’s not. He truly loves us & will never ever forsake us ever! I never ever thought I could face what I did & I know he did it all through his awesome power. He keeps us we don’t keep him. He is the root & we are the tree. The root keeps the tree. The tree does not keep the root! Jesus & the father are faithful to all his people! I am now healing from the surgery & so very thankful & happy because the Lord always operates in truth & never half heartedly! So I know the procedure was going to be done correctly & to trust in Him. So after about two years of a painful storm ⛈ I’m so grateful that He has saved my from my self. Never loose hope! Never! Things are always subject to change with our Father through Christ! I am incredibly thankful for Dr. Stanley & how the Lord spoke to me through his weekly program & videos here on KZbin. Week after week through a lonely terrible time & many times of no hope of seeing any light in the situation. I have grown to a place I never new! I sometimes felt I should have known better because I have been a believer for many many years. I new faith in the Lord, but threw the storms I have experienced, I did not know this kind of faith. But I came through because I was blessed to be on the rock when the floods came & realize my foundation was truly not built on sand. Dr. Stanley if your seeing this, I want you to know I love you & for that man you are & all I learned from you threw Christ over the years! Thank you so much for your faithfulness to the Lord & your incredible steadfastness & the perseverance you have & display in Christ!! Which only He could do! May Jesus & the Fathers blessings be multiplied to you! I give all the glory to our Father through Christ Jesus our Lord! Several years ago ,one of the times I was in the hospital, I had a gallbladder that was gangrene and it almost killed me due to the infection that had spread throughout my body. I love relying on God's Word. He reminds me that He has not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. I was only in the hospital for 10 days and was so thankful for the couple of friends and my pastor who came to visit with me. I thought that I needed my husband there but God reminded me that He was with me. The surgery took 6 hours to remove my disintegrated gallbladder and I was able to go home a couple of days after that. But, those 10 days spent in the hospital alone, except for the pastor and a couple of friends coming by one day, allowed me to reflect on God's presence in my life. We are never alone with Jesus in our lives.

I was just giving this iPhone a gift from our son who worries of my safety as I've been health challenged for 16+ years,I tuned into the USA program with Dr. CHARLES Stanley & read the comment " thanks to all those who prayed for me and then gave testament in Jesus's name his fears were diminished !!! Amen = GOD IS GOOD!! Please pray for me as I go back to the surgeon today, ( I've seen 3 surgeons this month,& had 2 procedures, at one put UVA HOSPITAL IN VA said " there is nothing more we can do for you here you need a bigger city") Good-grief ;( As I come from a medical background myself & have Dr's. IN my family, I've come to realize I've been in my scientific research head however I forgotten to take it to the #1 healer = God the almighty !!! Turns out I'm in need of accepting my own part in this quandary, I was wrapping up my own research " neurological brain based mapping & learning", when I was misdiagnosed with Lyme disease... that was in 2000*** Haha!! I'm still breathing,and though I'm still not sure how or why God has placed me on his path ( this road) The appointment I have today is with a colleague "we seem to come to many intriguing places in our lives +studies... it takes a big spirit to step off & say to a client / patient " Dr's are trained practitioners in the " Art", of practicing medicine there is " NO" human absolute !!! Doctor's Don't nor can explain everything,truthfully against all odds we are trained to never give up & exhaust everything at our disposal..... In this moment @ 8:53 a.m. I surrender all & everything I am everything God designed me to be, to literally drop to my knees and call out his name " JESUS ALMIGHTY TAKE THIS CUP FOR ME ,OR DIRECT ME FROM HERE,as I'm done with exhausting trail studies Rxs with horrific side effects, ( I'm on a gastricparesis diet,liquids,& alil' soft foods I've worked with dietitians for the past 10years, I've gone from a 92lb failure to thrive to 110lb gal moving with out trekking poles & primarily focusing on God's Given Breath...
