I wholeheartedly believe that English learners are in the same boat, even though there are multiple useful vocabularies that it is so valuable for all of us. And when it comes to putting into practice the words, at the end of the day I forget anything. The first step that you were talking about is actually very important if you wish to understand true meanings of words in a book or elsewhere. So many times have I been misled by our translations. Especially, when it came to reading, most books just didn't make sense. I am not exactly sure why there is such a difference in definitions, but it's there. Also, a word can have so many different meanings that could just not be mentioned in your dictionary, so I recommend using internet for all possible meanings. That is such a good point that I didn't hear anyone mention untill now.

You're right, when i was beginning, i had difficulty with english pronunciation and to speak without pausing. I don't know why this is happen but, the key is to read, close your eyes and imagine the real situation in mind.. in this way o could understand better the english spoken.. actually i stopped a few months ago.. either way I'm happy with my progress.. i will study again in the future because i really like this language.

Hey! You write really well! You have command of some very descriptive words! But, be careful about being too precise. It’s sounds a little quirky. Things like, ‘lovely manner’ can be replaced with “good way”. “Illustrate” can become “highlight”. “Seal the deal” should be “pay attention” and “fancy phrases” could be “advanced sayings”. But, all in all, you are fluent, for sure!
