Empyrion Galactic Survival, Reforged Eden Scenario
Help me choose the next CV for our playthrough! The main criteria are:
1. We have the resources or can easily get them.
2. More storage than the Ascension (2x320k containers).
3. SV/HV/CV carrying capacity.
4. Combat ability(?)

Packrats unite! You already know that LyfeForse and JRandall are fantastic builders. Ente and Art make so many amazing builds. You are picking some master-level designers at the top of the pyramid. The only one I've used in-game on a playthrough is the Eclipse, which was a blast, but that was my end-game ship. The pitch/roll/yaw was a little slow, but it was great in combat. It sounds like you are leaning towards the Solar Explorer, so I say go for it. The solar panels reduce power consumption. They don't need capacitors; they just work. I like the idea of parking it in orbit, turning the thrusters off, and not using any fuel. Then, hop in whatever craft to go mining/exploring/raiding. Looking forward to seeing your choice!

Thanks for the comment! Empyrion players really are spoiled for choice when it comes to high quality stuff. I think the Solar Explorer (I keep wanting to call it the Solar Forge, idk why) is still the frontrunner. Next episode will see some light space combat and me making mistakes yet again, but after that I think we'll get our next CV.

You should have a look at my favorite mid to far into endgame CV. The Khystris-V1N. It has a lot of storage and I mean a lot. I really can take a beating. I now have 10 aux cores on it, 4 quantums and 105 turrets. Maxed out on small and medium shield boosters. Its a beast, but not that expensive to bring in. With it, I always have the SSW Piddock Micro Miner/Salvager CV. I rebuild it a little, to get a large shield and landing pads on the roof, so I can hang it under the wing of the Khystris-V1N. I like practical ships the most and not so much ships with role play value. I want to have everything easy to get to, central. It has access from the bottom front, the back, 3 places on the roof. All storage is very well marked. You should spawn it in and have a look at it.
