Honestly, I think Cadie is a lovely young lady, well mannered, classy & kindhearted ~ She is responsible & dignified for her age, and certainly a daughter anyone would be proud to love... That said, especially considering her homeland's culture I think Cadie should ultimately decide. She can always change her mind, too... & back again, for that matter!

In Brazil babies (mostly girls) usually come out of the hospital with their ears pierced already but nowadays more parents are choosing to let the kids choose when to pierce. I love this on Cadie!

In Maharashtra (India) we pierce ears within 15days a baby is born... And the nose can be pierced from age of 4yrs to 15-20 yrs n so on....

The age at which I got my ears pierced was 3 and my mother got my ears pierced from a pharmacist. Generally they get their ears pierced from a goldsmith here, and they do it directly with a gold earring. But yes the ears piercing is generally 11months to 4years, the younger the better... But nose piercing happens during marriage... Although I got it for fashion.

My grandmom pierced my ear lobes with a needle that was heated,when I was v young.dont rem the pain at all.only that she pampered Me a lot afterwards.when my nose was pierced I was already a mom,so the pain I remember .it was done with a gold wire with a sharp pointy edge ,that was heated nd sanitized.the wire was then twisted into a loop...like a hoop...it was done professionally by a gold smith..when the wound healed i put a dimond stud .and its been there,ever since.but now I hv a cute diamond flower.Cadie uv grown into a beautiful young girl with a dazzling smile .a Dimond stud will suit u just fine .but do chose sumthing u r comfortable with .all d best ..❤❤

In India, people pierce their ears and nose at a very young age because it happens culturally. Especially in Bengali culture (I am not referring to the urban-centric, upper class and upper caste populace; their cultural traits are lot more leaning towards mainstream modern Indian culture), rural communities, traditional families, and even generally people choosing to do it happens rampantly. The classic septum piercing with a gold ring and a leaf dangling from it is culturally symbolic of young Bengali girls back in the day and today dancers, signers, artists continue to keep those traditions and styles of piercings in Bengal. So Cadie is doing amazing! She looks beautiful and she can try keeping it for it to settle into her look. All the very best!

It's part of our tradition. Also the Scientific reason is That keeps your menstrual health good. In India also people wear nose ornament but they are usually very small not the big ringtones. And this Nose piercing becomes compulsory when a woman is getting married so then it becomes compulsory to wear anything in the nose it then becomes a ritual.

Piercing are normal in Indian culture. Many people do it , but there is also some reasoning behind it . n India, the outside of the left side of the nose is the preferred position of the piercing. This is followed by some orthodox folk also because Ayurvedic medicine associates this location with the female reproductive organs. Some do it at a young age , some more towards puberty or before marriage . Ultimately it’s a personal choice

It's just so fascinating to see how different the northern and the southern part of India is. Women get thier nose peirced in the south as well but it's most probably right before her marriage and nowadays woman choose not to get a piercing done. And some of them love to get one done and they do it.

Okay so I’m a typical Bengali girl. Born and brought up in West Bengal. Ear piercing is common here. Anybody can have it but not every girl has nose piercing. It depends on the family tradition actually. In rural areas parents do pierce ears and nose of girls but again it depends on family tradition or culture. Some pierce it when the girl gets married, some before that and some pierce when they are kids. I’m 26 and I don’t have nose piercing but I do have ear piercing but mine is on my demand, it’s not traditional or nobody forced me to do. So Cadie can do anything she wants. It’s her choice. She’s beautiful anyway!!❤️ So when I was 5 or 6, I saw one of my friends getting her ears pierced by the house help (she wanted it, it’s not traditional ), so I also demanded the same and I convinced my mom. The house help took a needle with thread and burnt the needle a lil bit to sterilize and cooled it down. Then she pierced my ears with it, ran the thread through that pierced hole and later on applied ointment. The pain was horrible and I couldn’t keep the piercing for long. It got closed. Then when I turned 10 I again got my ears pierced with gunshot in parlour and got medications as well. So piercing is not a traditional thing in urban culture but in rural areas it is but the time may vary as per their culture. Most get it when they get married and some get it as in childhood. In urban areas, girls get piercings as per their requirements and by their choice just for style. But yes it’s kinda common in India to have ear and nose piercing. It depends on individuals or their families.

I got my nose pierced when I was 16 and a few years later I decided to stop wearing the piercing. I still have a scar on my nose 11 years later! The choice was really 'do I want to keep the piercing? Or am I happy with a small scar?'... Sometimes I wish I hadn't taken it out...

usually, in south india babies around a year and above get their heads shaved and ears pierced. ive never heard of nose piercing at a young age but that happens when ur a bit older

I belong to the State of Maharashtra in India, so in my culture, that is the Marathi culture, both babies... boys and girls get their ears pierced at as young as 11 to 14 days old babies. It is acupuncture. It is allowed according to Aayurveda. But getting a nose piercing is not a part of at least my culture nor it is in India. 😊😊

It's not in my culture but during college just for fashion sake i pierced my nose from a professional piercer in the market, it's not really painful, one small clipping sound and it's done, piercing gun is the best. Cadie, why don't you go for a thin small round nose ring instead of studs
