i heard that it has to do with the carbon layering which needs to be really neat if you don't paint it, and it's a tricky thing to get done properly, apparently.

The main reason for the considerably higher cost of clear coat is the fact that solid painted body panels could be leaved a bit rough and are then covered with spray-putty that hides the imperfections and makes it easy to smooth out the surface before the final coat. On the other hand, you can't use spray-putty in a bare CF panel, so it has to be very carefully finished and must not have any visible imperfections such like bubbles trapped inside the resin.

To add to everyone elses comments, the naked carbon is different from clear coated carbon. I believe they hand wet sand every panel down to the bare carbon.

i dont know if anyone has yet said, that naked carbon isnt just raw un finnished carbon look. it is raw carbon that has outside resin layer sand off and then it is pollished to get same look you find on agera rs intake (or at least Draken has that finnish)

Jesko Absolut for sure, I would go with the Hermes touch even though it might add another year for delivery. Also the black with rose gold is on par with white and rose gold for me.
