The Regera can't freely rev its engine like other hypercars since it doesn't have a clutch or flywheel to put it in neutral. The engine is connected directly to the driveshaft. That's why they call it Koenigsegg Direct Drive.

Maybe putting on EV mode as the other guy said it can move 6mph while the engine remains on, so ig they put on EV then made it in neutral and then able to rev.

For $1000 to drive 30 minutes is the most fair rental for any hyper you can find. A true car enthusiast trying to share the glory. Huge fan of what you do. (And it’s actually less than $800) yeah it’s not a full day rental but you still can say you drove a koenigsegg or a Bugatti or rimac and that’s what it’s all about. Amazingly generous. Thank you good sir 🤝

Very nice clean spec. Right up my ally. Many koenigseggs I see I don't like the color scheme they've chosen. Was a green one I saw recently tho that looked so good. Regera is unique for sure since it has no gears. It's like a jet. That turbocharger sounds so cool as well.
