The contrasting styles and voices of the two guitar players is just great. Sax cherry on top. And to be honest i love Bills drumming solo without Mickey, double drummers to me can get a little convoluted. Drums and percussion yes, double drums unnecessary. I almost want to see Joe Russo and Marco play with these guys. Lots of fun years ahead!!

@@DingleBerry88 That would be cool. For me Hamilton shreds too fast a bit too frequently for my taste for a d.n.co set anyway. It's like okay we get it..you know every note on the fretboard and you're extremely fast, but so does every other great guitar player. The greats just know when and when not to pull it out. He's perfect a fit for j rad. I love the jazz sensibilities and space in most dead songs. These cats have a ways to go to figure out the dexterity, spacing,tone, effects and timing of great dead solos. I would actually pick John K or Zack Nugent over both of these cats for DnC. I hope they keep JM.. he's a master at the fretboard and his ear for the dead is impeccable. The only downfall is I miss Jerry's voice so much.. I'm not crazy about JM or Hamilton vocals.

@DingleBerry88
@DingleBerry88 3 жыл бұрын
@@scottbegonias313 I hear everything you said. Hamilton is a shredder, I don’t think he’s a one trick pony though. I fall further out of love with Mayer’s voice more and more as time goes on. I didn’t mind it so much at first. Tommy isn’t exactly angelic in the vocal department either, but I like it. My main thing is I don’t want to hear anyone playing Jerry to sound a lot like Jerry. I wanna hear them do their own thing with the music. That’s why I love JRAD. It’s the music I’ve loved my whole life beginning all over again. It’s young and fast and off the cuff. Anyway, it’s 2 am and I’m rambling cause I don’t have any friends near by to have these conversations with anymore.
