Unfortunately you don’t have that much time to make all of the right adjustments, my suggestion if you’re blitzing out of zone coverage you need to play man on the outside receivers, blitz your line and have one linebacker on a QB spy while you user your safety

You can get the same look coming out in coverage and then right on d pad and down on r stick to have them blitz. Less adjustments to do in precious time. Great tip though. Love your videos.

You get the same effect by pressing L1 and left stick down to press and then press triangle and left stick to the left to show blitz.

Kimani Treece any of them. If you have decent safeties they will man up the number 2 receivers in any 2x2 set. It must be 2x2 otherwise unfortunately the game won’t match.

Kimani Treece just the middle 3 req. because the safety is lined up 10 yards off the ball he’s right there for the corner route. Had gut foxx try it on stream today and showed him that it works. Just requires a fast click on

Kimani Treece so just to make sure you understood. On 2x2 sets I’ll call quarters and user the 3 rec since safeties will man up on any vertical route (greater than 7 yards). On trip sets I’ll play palms and user the weak side quarter defender who’s responsibility is usually the rb. There is currently a bug where the quarter defender on the strong side hesitates when deciding to match his number 2 receiver. So if number 2 runs vertical that slight hesitation causes the number 2 to get behind him and open. Now not everyone knows this. But to be safe I’ll take the weak side safety since in this formation he has no responsibility. So I’ll move him to the middle and man up that number 2 receiver. Sucks you gotta waste a defender but that’s the fix until madden decides to get their shit together. Then most ppl keep their rb to block so that’s why I’ll use the weak side quarter defender since 3 rec plays really well. Hope this helps! I keep most opponents 14 points and below. Also these coverages have safeties in run fit and today’s patch resulted them to finally work as they are supposed to. What I mean by this is that they now react to the run first then the pass. So now you’ll have great run d but also great pass D. Most people will see previous play and see that you chose cover 4 quarters or palms and think it’s just drop zone coverage when really they man up depending on the route combination. Hope this helps and sorry for lengthy response just want to give you the proper details.

@@MackDaddyCRX fire zone 2 stops the run. base align, spread dline and pinch lbs. manually bring down both safeties closer to the box to help run support. this locks up the stretch and most runs you'll commonly see in h2h or mut. you could also shift your dline to the strength of the formation or where the run will most likely go
