Can I use this as a drying aid? Wash the car with ONR and then spray each panel while wet and dry off.
@BelLavoroAutoSpa2 ай бұрын
@@ceeIoc yes you can use the 3 in 1 wax or speed shine as a drying aid

I use the speed shine as an actual drying aid, meaning after you rinse your car you spray the speed shine on the panel before drying with your towel.
@davidjykim Жыл бұрын
I've heard of people recommending a leaf blower to dry most of the water and then moving to a microfiber towel to dry. I also think the speed/shine would be best as a drying aid. Wondering if someone does use a leaf blower, if the speed/shine should go on BEFORE or AFTER the leaf blower.
@JamessLuner-wi2qs Жыл бұрын
@@davidjykim I would say after the leaf blower. So you first blow as much water off as possible, then go over the entire car with speed shine and a drying towel. Mopping up any drips and adding protection at the same time

If you’ve been using the ceramic speed shine as a drying aid on top of the 3 in 1, when you go to apply more 3 in 1 would you fully prep the surface again or just apply the 3 in 1 on top?
@BelLavoroAutoSpa2 жыл бұрын
You can re apply 3 in 1 over the ceramic speed shine. They are made to be chemically compatible!

Enjoy your video's, quick question, rather than using CSS, would you get better longevity using 3 in 1 as a drying aid or quick detail on top of the original application of 3 in1 ?
@BelLavoroAutoSpa4 ай бұрын
@seabreezeof I think you would get best longevity by applying 3 in 1 as a base, using CSS as a topper/drying aid and re applying 3 in 1 every 3-6 months.

Can I spray the ceramic spray shine and blow dry the car or do I have to use a towel to dry the car?
@BelLavoroAutoSpa2 жыл бұрын
You can blow dry thr car sure if you mean after you have already applied it via wiping it in and buffing off or spray and rinse.

I think Griot's calls the scent "Green Apple" but i'm not 100% sure on that one. I do have these products and for the money, you definitely cannot go wrong with these! I really enjoy using Griot's products. They have been putting out some good stuff lately.

Like 20 years ago or whenever it was the original formula of Turtle Wax Ice was a lot thicker product & IMO was very superior to all subsequent formulas of it. From the 2nd formula on it's been way too much like straight water. I find the 3 n 1 Girots to be incredibly more 'warm' & substantive when apply it, removing it & enjoying the results of it.

The main fail here is rinsing with a pressure washer, you are literally blowing off the protection. The surface only needs a low flow stream of water at best to clean it off for a rinse.
@BelLavoroAutoSpa Жыл бұрын
Yea, not how that works dude 😆
@bobbob6472 Жыл бұрын
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa it is 100% how that works. There is no need to hit that panel with any pressure other than regular hose pressure when rinsing a panel. If you are using high pressure to rinse you are doing it wrong. You use pressure to blow off what you do not want, not what you want. Though if I am wrong, please explain why you need to use high pressure to rinse a clean panel?
@BelLavoroAutoSpa Жыл бұрын
@Bob Bob high pressure water does not remove ceramic protection. The chemical is bonding to the surface as a microscopic level. Go ahead and email Griot's and ask for yourself if you dont believe me. Literally there are spray and rinse products that show using pressure washers. I and literally hundreds of others have been detailing vehicles this way professionally for many years. I don't need high pressure, but it works a lot better than a garden hose and uses less water to clean a vehicle and is much faster. Pretty standard thing for professional detailing. Garden hose will also work just fine.
