@ThisCrazyLife I saw that you have a cat, which essential oil do you use? My cats are14 yrs old and very sensitive to smell. There is also many essential oil that are hurtful for cats, I would not want to use the wrong kind. My cats are my babies and they are so spoiled, Lol Thank you for this video, it was very encouraging and it does make a difference at the end. God bless your week and your family Nicole

@@clairebarriault1263 love that 5 minute chore! For me, a cat nap takes much longer than 5 minutes 😂😂😂 but my productivity gets boosted for sure! I’m sorry about speaking too quickly - I was just talking to our youngest son, Noah about this! He talks fast too, and I told him he must have gotten that from me! I talked much faster when I was younger, but I forget I still can talk a bit fast even now 😂
@ThisCrazyLife5 ай бұрын
@@nicolehervieux1704 I would just google online which oils are safe/harmful to cats. I spoke to my vet about this years ago, and he told us, if we are using them in a diffuser, etc, it wouldn’t affect them - as long as they aren’t coming into contact with the undiluted version. And before I knew about this, I had used them for years without issues. So I felt comfy still using them in our home. But absolutely do whatever is best & comfortable for you & your sweet cats! 🥹

This was a fantastic video. It would be so helpful for anyone like me that lives with anxiety and/or depression. We know a clean space makes us feels better but it's so overwhelming thinking that we need to clean our whole house from top to bottom or why bother. My therapist has worked with me in the past to do this same thing with self care. Just 5 min...brush your teeth and hair put on deoderant. I'm sharing this with everyone.

Tomorrow I’ll clean the shower and all the mirrors… I have to break down the tasks into what I can manage with my pain levels. Some times it is a full room, but sometimes it’s only one thing in the room, like the vanity or putting away laundry. Thank you for the video! Slow vacuuming does make a huge difference. Especially on rugs. It's like deep cleaning them without the hassle and extra time that it takes to get a carpet cleaner out. It also fluffs the fibres up so much more and makes your rugs feel so much softer.

Love these tips, especially while trying to declutter my whole house. This will definitely help keep the areas I have finished stay picked up as well as help get ahead start on the other areas until I can get to them. I use a powdered makeup (Bare Minerals ) so wiping out my sink each morning has become such an important task. You definitely gave me the drive to take on wiping down my cabinets- I moved into my grandma’s house after she passed, per her wishes, & as my mom said, “she cooked everything on high” and I’m sure I’ve added to the issue myself! 😉 Also, totally agree on the feeling you get crawling into a made bed each night.

Amanda, great tips. I was glad to see I am doing alot of what you shared in my own home. I actually put cleaning my home on the priority list. Its very routine for me bc I don't do well with a dirty home, nor a messy home nor clutter. My OCD and anxiety would never allow me to let my house go for long but i know life happens. I have a few tips to share: 1. Add an ice cube to each of your indoor plants. Its a timesaver and buys you time before you need to water them again. 2. Sort your laundry and pull your bedding off of your bed. It will save time when you're ready to do laundry and force you to do it since your bed is undone. 3. When you're in a pinch with time before company comes over, I often spray the toilet bowl with bleach and use a daily shower spray to freshen up the scent in a bathroom. It will add that fresh clean home scent without the work (of course the house needs to be tidy to appear clean) but I find spraying works at a moments notice 😁🏡👌🏽

Amanda, hi, what a great idea with the 25 quick tips. I am so bad about doing my shutters or blinds. I have 7 windows in the sunroom with wooden blinds. For some reason I hate to wipe them down. I used pledge on them, and now it seems like they just attract the dust more. I do LOVE my e-clothes on glass and mirrors. Maybe they would help on the build-up on the blinds. I will have to give it a try. Love the 5 min cleaning tips what a good motivation idea. Thank you so much. 💓 maybe I can use that on my son to get him motivated. Take care.
