His speech wasn't slurred enough. Plus some people have balance issues but after sitting they can perform normal. Smelling like alcohol or even dropping a bottle might've helped more. But I do respect your mission!

Being a retired nurse and a victim assistance advocate, I can't tell you how many people I have had to tell that their loved ones had been killed by a drunk driver! I would bet if a habitual drunk driver had to tell just one person that a drunk driver had killed their family member, they would think twice before getting behind the wheel under the influence! 🥺

I would be afraid to give someone a ride, but maybe a taxi ride. Or call someone for them. I gave a drunk friend a ride to him home one day. It was OK, until he grabbed my car shifter threw my car in reverse and grabbed my steering wheel. Thankfully I was able to shift it into neutral before any real damage happened and put the break on slowly to prevent an accident. If there would have been another vehicle on the road it could have been really bad, he had steered my car into the other lane. Being a woman much smaller than my male friend put me at a disadvantage. Although, I would help a friend or a stranger, staying safe while doing it

I watched a girl seeing another girl look extremely uncomfortable with a man creeping around her at night alone & she ran up acting like her friend and got her out of there. I just wonder how many ppl would catch on to that situation an how many would step in. I was beaten almost to death knocked unconscious 2 skull fractures several broken bones thrown in the backseat of my own car and drove off with while around a dozen people watched. No one tried to save me yet videoed what could of been my death.

I saw that too. I would 💯 have stepped in. If I had seen you being beaten I would 💯 step in. It's not *always* the case, but I find that those of us who have been abused, would help out more than those who have not. I'm 61 and disabled, but I would not stand by and watch anyone being beaten or abused. I'm really sorry for what happened to you. I hope you have managed to heal mentally & physically. My cousin was hit by a drunk teenager when he was 6. He was stuck under the vehicle and dragged for idk 8 yards or so! The driver didn't even know he'd hit someone and he started speeding up when the passengers told him and one stopped the car. He suffered 3rd degree burns over half his body and a broken arm. Then him his wife went on a trip to Vegas and a drunk driver hit a double bus they were on. When the bus finally stopped he threw his wife out the backdoor while the bus was on fire, helped another over to his wife, jumped back on the bus and saved the woman across from them and tried to get back on the bus to save her husband just as the bus blew up after laying her down. It was awful. So many people hurt and died. It barely made it in the paper. Everyone there their lives were changed forever, never to be the same. The drunk driver was fine uninjured and no remorse and not his first time. My cousin has so much pain and problems now but still works, they divorced because he was being so hateful to his wife, she tired of the treatment he was giving and he was never like that ever before. So if you ever see someone drunk get in a car and leave that it's not on you what they do, think again!

This makes me so incredibly angry. How so many people will just do nothing, and how some will even "help the poor guy out". I used to live across the street from a bar. One night i watch from my window as 5 guys, obviously intoxicated walk out of the bar, one kicks over the canada post box and does a super macho "YEAHHHH". They all hop in to a massive lifted ram 3500 on 37's. All i could picture was some poor family in a minivan passing through town and getting smoked head on by these idiots. The picture was pretty graphic, that truck would have ripped the cab off of a dodge caravan from about the doors up! I was abused by an alcoholic stepmother growing up, had an absent dad who didnt even care, and an extended family full of alcoholics who justify doing horrible things to their children and other people. I have no sympathy for people who hop behind the wheel of a lifted diesel 1 ton truck absolutely hammered. So i phoned the fuckers in, and about 90 mins later im walking to the circle k and i see that big white ram surrounded by 3 cop cars loaded up on a flatbed ready to go. I dont know who these men were, but im assuming that the driver had a high paying job in the energy sector because thats all there is around here. He wouldve lost his license, then his job because you cant work 5 hours from home in the middle of nowhere without a truck capable of getting there. I probably destroyed a man's life that night, but you know what? Im perfectly okay with that, it was well deserved as soon as he hopped behind the wheel of that battering ram of a truck. This thing had a big steel bumper on the front. I dont feel bad because i have a very vivid imagination, maybe i was having a premonition, i dont know. But all i saw in my mind was a dark coloured dodge caravan traveling down the transcanada highway just before the 2nd last intersection before leaving city limits. Theres a huge dip there, and i saw this van, with a man and his wife, and 4 kids in the back watching a movie on the dvd screen. They were obviously on a road trip and just passing through town, 3 of the kids were asleep. All of a sudden their facial expressions change and the lights flashed before their eyes, and then this ram 3500 drove right up and ripped the roof off of this van. I saw that family die, they were all severed in half when the truck ripped through. Then the vision goes back a few seconds and im inside the cab of this truck. The music was blasting and none of them were wearing seatbelts. The idiots in the back seat wanted to play chicken with an oncoming car. They were all cheering the driver on as he stepped on the pedal and turned on his lightbar to blind the other driver. He saw the van ahead in the dip and the passengers got even more excited as the truck revved higher and higher. At the last moment somebody yells "holy shit!" And the truck flies up and over this van, and when it lands it rolls. All the occupants of the truck survive, they were all standing around in shock when the police arrived, and the occupants of the van all died a gruesome death with their upper halves laying in multiple pieces across the road. I saw those men hopping in that truck, and thats what went through my mind simultaneously. Call it what you want, a premonition, a vision, somebody who has an extremely vivid imagination that prompted them to do the right thing, but thats what made me call them in. Its better not to f*** around and find out with those types of things. I hate alcohol and even more so alcoholism. I have no sympathy for someone capable of doing that.

All the nopes. I will call the cops on a drunk driver's ass all day. After nearly 15 years of drive thru work, i very easily called the cops on 250 or more drivers for DUI/DWI, and also child endangerment. Yeah, cops either loved me or hated me, but very rarely was i wrong. So not worth it, folks. Please, if you see something, say something.

I remember 40 some years ago when I was an alcoholic and drinking Melissa hard worker I was working on cement homes building the foundations pouring concrete used to go out to drink one day I came home from drinking about 12:00 turn on the TV heard and talk about Jesus turned it off ask the Lord if he was real to come in my heart I really want to be saved and while what a change and I'm living for him now 40 some years and he's kept me I've been kept by the power of God any Man in Christ Jesus is a new creature and he keeps us he won't let nothing happen to us he's right there watch over us what a Savior you need to be saved call upon Jesus now and be saved any Man in Christ Jesus is a new creature New Creation and his perfect love will cast out all fear and he'll fill you with the holy Spirit what a blessing and then we can fight the good fight of Faith everyday the Lord is with us every day you can tell others about Jesus and they will have an opportunity to be saved cuz we all need a savior amen even those who think they're atheists need to be saved,
