I'm a Hispanic woman and I am not racist just honest. Most of the scammers with signs are not white they are Romanian or Mexicans from Mexico. When I was younger which was years ago, I lived in mostly Mexican neighborhood and my neighbors were about 5 woman no kids. Every morning a van would pick them up and would drop them off in the evening, I thought they all worked in a factory . They took lunch box and small coolers. One day my husband left his book he writes his hours in, he was a truck driver and he would get in trouble if he didn't carry it with him. So he told where he was parked,it was a bit far but I went. And he said he wanted to show me something. When I drove up to the truck, he came got in the car and said let go get some tacos from the food truck. He said it's down the street and that's where I need to show you something,so we went.we parked on one side of the truck and he got out and come here so I got out and we walked around the truck and there they were 2 of the ladies with signs dressed in old dirty clothes. With cups in their hands running up to cars at stop lights. I was shocked! The signs said homeless and hungry and he said the others are at the next stop light.i always thought they wore those clothes because of a dirty job at factory. Boy was I wrong! On the weekends after they got dropped off. Later a suv would honk and they would all come out lookin so pretty and in nice dresses and heels. When they would get home about 4am drunk singing and laughing. Sorry for such a long story ... But PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY. Please give to homeless shelters. To the real homeless .
