Dear Steve, we appreciate the years of hard graft you have put in to honing your skills to perfection. We are now privileged to see your horsemanship imparted to horse and owner and viewers of your wonderful videos. No magic involved, pure hard graft, dedication, love for horses and an awesome Tanya to back you all the way. Thank you guys. Looking forward to the full video.

Yep, he just needed firmness. You should demonstrate a hug with the awkward back clapping or just patting people so people get it. Its not pleasant to receive patting, and horses don't have any equivalent to patting between horses. They do have touches and rubs.

Question: What happened to that horse Holly ? There was a plan, I was told, that you would have her at the ranch and work with her extensively but I've heard not a word about her since. Anybody ?

Steve you’d be interested to see Kory the head horse trainer at Horse Plus Humane Society rescue - he tames mustangs and abused horses. You’d love him.

I actually like just the way you do your videos. No special photography or wind noise blah blah blah... it makes me watch and listen intently. Back up the video when needs be, etc... its not a case for having to hear every word. Its watching you physically and the horses response that is the learning.

YOU AM THE LEAD STALLION STEVE!!! 😏
@gsbealer Жыл бұрын
No unrequested forward motion No Hand feeding Make it their idea via the work alternative Refrain from invading my space, unless I request it Attitude is important When working only pay attention to me (and the corollary)….Where the nose goes, the toes goes Don’t eyeball your horse Look at the feet, it’s them you want to control Don’t pat your horse….rub Correct repetition makes perfect….or as near as damn it Never get angry with your horse Never resort to violence Smile…..but don’t show your teeth Firm but gentle Present yourself to the horse as though you possess the experience and gravitas of a 15 year old herd stallion or lead mare.

While I agree with all positive comments on your training, I still have difficulty hearing what you're saying during training even in quiet surroundings. Please improve your sound system. I know that tone, inflection and volume of your voice are important to the horse but you need to improve how it is picked up on the video. I want to hear everything you are saying... Thank you.
