I agree! I would love to see that as well! Right now I am doing something similsr on a very tiny scale for the animals of people who are unhoused. I amtrying toe xpand to help the pet parents too, as I am able. But most of the time I cannot physically go out to deliver like Michael does so I meet up with others and they distribute for me.

The homeless do really well taking care of their dogs. I usually help them with food but not money so much, just whatever they are going to purchase with the money. ❤

I think the man with the dog knew Michael. Michael does give out pet food from time to time. In general, it is easier to get human food and this man cares about his dog. The dog is loyal company. A lot of homeless men don't talk to many people because of trust issues. And often times, they are invisible to the average passerby.

As usual Michael gives without looking down his nose at people that are less fortunate than the general population. No one does this type of outreach where I live. There are churches that offer meals, clothes closets and a few that offer showers. I myself have been to some of them and there is almost always an air of arrogance from the people who claim to care about unhoused people. The threat of being banned from showers for 6 months if a person goes over the 15 minute time allotted is especially offensive to me. The 7th day Adventist church has an hour once a week for the homeless. That means that four people can shower. It is a bandaid on cancer in my opinion. These people are monetarily better off but that doesnt mean they are better than street people. They are simply more fortunate. Truth be told, I have little to no respect for them. This man seems to serve without judgment and I believe he really cares. Thanks for all you do. 🌞

Stay strong , this to shall pass . Growing up I was homeless and the laundry mats all had showers for $.25. It's hard to clean up in a gas station sink but it can be done . Peace

4 showers a week for the homeless is still something. It’s better than not doing it at all. Also the seventh day Adventist church near me has the biggest and most abundant food bank I’ve ever seen. The ladies sew quilts to give out to people and the homeless always have priority when it comes to things like sleeping bags and warm coats. They’re doing their best. The church has even funded my Kids going to summer camp which would’ve cost me about $600 per child without their donations!

Happy Friday Michael. I hope your week was filled with many reasons to smile :-) Do the girls still have the wagon you gave them? I heard 1 mention a cart or something but, figured if they knew you were coming to stock them up, the wagon would have been there.🤔 The man you were helping had me crying. Long story short, My Dad had issues & there were years when I didn't know where he was. He has been gone now since 2005 due to unhealthy choices. That man reminded me of my Dad. I don't know his story, nor do I need to. If you should see him again, please tell him someone in Sierra Vista wishes him well & is sending lots of love. * If I can send funds directly for him, where would I do that, just to the posted link?
