Good for you, Rachel. How kind of you to share this personal info publicly. Your kids have a great and loving Mom! After years of eating Whatever, I’ve returned to cooking from scratch (like I did Back in the Day) and as “close to the tree” as I can. It’s made a huge difference and we’re 60+ and 80+…. Nutrition does matter. We started with Bread and then milling grain for our bread - game changer in how we feel. Less costly as well. I might add, switching everything to organic and/or home-grown has been great too. It didn’t happen overnight but we’re very much better these days. I’ve shared all I’ve learned with our family and these life style changes have trickled all the way down to the great-grand children. Thanks for your Channel, it’s wonderful!❤

As a grown adult with my own kids now I REALLY REALLY wish my mom was more strict with me with the foods I ate. I think it’s very wise to educate children with smart food choices and the WHY. Way to go Rachel! Your kids will thank you when they grow up and depart the nest. These are life time skills ❤ Great video! You are a wonderful encourager! 😊 God bless!

Thanks for sharing! We’ve never had behavioral problems that I can link to food, but I know friends who do. But also I’ve cooked almost everything from scratch as long as I can remember. I could have 100% said everything you said at the beginning: 3 young kids, doing my best to raise them to love the lord and live well 💚 many blessings to you and yours!

This is awesome! A manual did not come with my kids but God gave us mother's instincts which I learned to rely on them heavier on others opinions. I would take my kids to the library for story time and pour over books to figure out my kids health troubles (not much internet at that time). Fortunately back then we were too broke to not cook from scratch. You are a blessing to moms and I love sharing your videos.

I put my first born son on the Feingold diet when he was little,it's a wonderful book that helped with diet related behavioral issues,my son is now 42😃Your story sounds so much like my own,may God bless you in your journey.

I cooked from scratch focusing on protein vs carbs even before my son was born. For him the switch was flipped after a flu vac. I tried everything including eliminating foods and observing, no difference. I have heard of other kids getting better through diet and I'm happy for them. Now at 15, through many years of work he's doing very well. People we meet can't tell he had severe behavior problems before. For someone at their wits end check out Temple Grandin. I implemented her methods years before I heard of her. 💗💗💗
