I agree 100% , we always don't do what is best for ourselves. Especially with a head injury, go to the ER! Liam Neeson's wife thought she was fine after a head injury and died.

I have watched many of your videos on a wide range of topics. Your observations, experiences and views are always rooted in uncommon, common sense! Keep up the great work!

Agree, I have also been in situations where it made a difference to be checked and some where it probably did not make a difference. I would not have changed a thing, its the right thing to do.

I agree. And even if it's not threatening your health, do you REALLY need to work immediately after such an accident? I don't think so. If others are willing to step in, let them and get checked out. A job is not as important as my wellbeing. Granted, I'm not American so I don't have that "hustle till I die" mentality and a visit to the doctor or ER is cheap if not free. So my outlook is based on those circumstances.

I so envy you. Our values here are very misguided. I'll even take crap for saying so. We have a faction of people that have been programmed to believe universal healthcare means bad care. They also believe if you're sick, or hurt, you must keep going or you are "not a real man". Alpha-male BS.

Good points Brian. I totally respect your moral compass (same as mine). Ya gotta at least try to assess a situation to decide and follow through with overriding somebody's wishes for the sake of their life even if get mad, do it anyway: especially when it's pretty clear they are in distress and not themselves. It is the right thing to do.

keep up the great vlogs on "reality". I noticed most djs don't give a rat's ass about their health or anybody others. This is a great example. Only 300 views on this one opposed to over 1,000 on ones you do about equipment and some gig log. Same thing on my channel. Over 10,000 views on some JBL speaker review and 49 on how to stay healthy as a dj. I don't put too much trust in fellow dj's. Thanks for this vlog.

But Rachel is actually medically trained, young, vibrant and intelligent. Yes she was definitely shook up but i understand her wanting to continue. I dont think your unfortunate situation was the same. You did kinda say they were are in previous video. If not your intent i heard it that way. Not stirring a pot, just a observation. I have a disability too so please don't think I'm pecking at you. Cheers

She also had a head injury and all that she was thinking about was her event, it wasn't even a wedding. She should have went to the ER and been monitored at home if it wasn't serious.

@flyrobin2544 She made the right choice, for her, for the situation, and its not yours or anyone else's place to question or criticize her. The ego on you

@@chadnliz2k11 You are so wrong here. I am worried about her safety and nothing else.

@flyrobin2544 You realize she's ok right? If you don't, I talked to her....she is. Spare the lectures please.

first and foremost---she's not that young. I was 34 when I had a fall on my mountain bike and later in the ER they told me I had a concussion. I wasn't 24 and i dont think she's still in her 20's. Secondly Brian is calling us out. Something that he doesn't have to do. he can be like DJ Barr and the others and not give a shit about other DJs and just collect their KZbin monthly payouts and sponsorhips.
