Thank you, father for pursuing and overcoming the obstacles that have been put through for you in your lifetime. Certainly, God has a plan for you. God is right here with us who need the fruits of your labor. Your lifetime experiences, your wisdom, that sometimes we older ones do acquire, in spite of ourselves! And your ability to apply history to the lives, that we are living today. I am praying that is God presents many alternatives to you that you will discern a path that keeps you close to us who are fed by your grace and wisdom. I hear Jesus speaking in you, with you and through you. Praise and thanks be to God! I was baptized as an infant in the Catholic Church. His graces guided me in my early 30’s to make a Cursillo weekend. I grew in knowledge of what a friendship with Jesus means and He surprised me with the baptism of the Spirit when I’d never heard of it. I had been invited to prayer meetings but thought ‘those’ people were odd. Jesus lured me through curiosity to a healing Mass. It 1:21 took me 3 hrs. to step out and go up for prayer - asking healing for my husband, young son and sister. I am so grateful that God the Father chose that time, in His time, for me. His peace, love and joy filled me to the full as I rested in the Spirit. I am 74 years now and I know He will never leave me or forsake me. Thank you, Fr. Meeks for preaching His word with clarity and in His love. Trusting that many blessings await you 🙏🙏🙏

I agree with other viewers that continued preaching from Fr. Meeks even after he steps down as pastor of this Church would be wonderful. That said, I have no idea if he wishes to do so, or if he is permitted to do so, and I have noticed over the past three years that each time a priest I listened to gets cancelled by his bishop, I run into another. So it seems God will sate our thirst for truth regardless of what happens to any individual priest. And I would also note, that because of the cancellations I have seen in recent years, both in the religious and secular world, I have been backing up all the homilies and videos I could manage from Fr. Meeks, from Fr. James Altman, Fr. Dan Nolan, Fr. James Mawdsley, and others that catch my ear to my own local storage--both in video form and via the automatic subtitles. Sure enough, most of Fr. Nolan's and Fr. Altman's were removed from the public KZbin channel histories, so good thing I did. In any case, makes it possible to review privately later in case access to good priests/sermons is cut off completely, and potentially to share for the benefit of others as well, assuming I can figure out a way to do that.
