I can hear the beat in the highs of the boosted background, but it helps to add texture and more feeling to the vocal sectio

What’s funny is a use vitamin as a replacement for saturation that you use from Pro Q. It’s cool to see something else you can do with it. Definitely going back and widening a lot of my mixes with this. Thanks for sharing devvon!! You’re the goat 🐐 engineer and teacher

Microshift is also a good vocal spreader and it adds it’s own character

He has plenty of eq videos that show u what u need. But u will mostly find ur high frequencies in the 17k and 37k range. It depends on ur mic. Your subtractive eq is what will always make the difference. Use subtractive eq first in your vocal chain dip maybe 1.1db not to wide of a q out what u need. After ur compression and desser, begin with another eq to add what's needed. Then a good compressor of your liking, add Multiband Compression afterwards, then maybe Rvox for the glue. Then your effects. Hope this kinda helps ya.🦾

Can anyone explain the difference between the different vocal templates that Devvon has e.g. Lil Uzi Vert and the rest in the melodic trap bundle and Tory Lanez and the rest in the male singer bundle and so on?
