Yeah, now that I think about it All we did in the previous VR is seeing him in the VR world waving at us as he grew closer and we followed him all over the end until we followed him inside the vent Doesn't seem a little sus to us? That we did encounter him but never actually "stop" him, like resetting or hacking the VR to delete him and/or find some way to erase him from the code So maybe in the ending we may and hopefully and actually defeat him for good Hopefully...

Theory and Spoiler: this is a prequel to Ruin after SB, we see Roxy wanting us to do her makeup. But she isn’t satisfied. So she asks us to put on a mask that looks exactly like the one we see in Ruin. Proving that this isn’t just a prequel, but the company tried to fix them. It didn’t work and so they had to destroy the pizzaplex.
