I like how the backing vocals have a very Beach Boys/Everly Brothers feel while also foreshadowing really hard to the Steven Tyler/Joe Perry harmonies commonly found in Golden Age Aerosmith

Me, too (and Van Halen comes to mind as well) but this is one of those times when I wish they'd gotten Ringo's inimitable voice into the mix as another backing voice. Just a little extra magic, and something they underused in my opinion. (Of course, he does drop by at the end!)

This is The Beatles's hardest song, obviously, and is by Paul McCartney. The Beatle's two most tender songs, which are almost lullabies, are "Julia" and "Good Night", both by John Lennon. And the three songs are on the same album.

Quincy Jones obviously did not listen to any of there Isolated tracks the Beatles worked heavily on vocals when they finally got a chance to hit the lab,the studio, also I think Quincy Jones to this day is the only one who disagrees with the rest of humanity when he says they weren't good also we can thank Paul and George Martin to for the drive behind a lot of it this track will always be one of my favorites to anyone want to learn how to play guitar shit play this .! I won't be sorry lol Helter skelter kicks ass.

How were these songs recorded you think? We’re they live in the room or individually tracked? Of course vocals were separate. I just notice that the instrumentation is not perfect and has flaws when listening to the isolated instruments, but works so well together.

This is from the Rock Band game so bits have been merged and faded in/out. The master recording is on 8-track.
@johnnymorell49742 жыл бұрын
This is sometimes the problem with perfect sounding individual tracks. They don't necessarily move you because of their perfection. Some of my favourite songs have tracks which sound quite rough or odd on their own but together, it's a wonderful noise!
