HEMA Exhibition: Arto Fama vs Danial Ciupka

It’s been going for longer than a year now! I believe last octobre there was the third edition, which had a high ranking card, including felipe barreto vs phillip lechner and ties kool vs yannick de smet. I’ve went there in person every year, it keeps improving and improving, it’s a really good concept and I believe they can make it something amazing! Getting into the footage, at 20:40, while it’s hard to see it from this angle, what happens is that Arto throws/signals a cut to the back of Daniel’s head but doesn’t let it go through since he doesn’t want to actually hit him on an illegal target. I think that because under the usual rulesets in the Netherlands (and in most rulesets I’ve fought under) signalling an attack to the back of the head counts as a succesful attack without the warning of hitting an illegal target, Arto expected a halt. That said I dunno the exact rulesets of these exhibitions ngl.
