Mi sono divertito un sacco a fare pratica, sei bravissimo ad insegnare e non mi sono annoiato neanche nelle sezioni di lettura del libro di Fiore de liberi. All'inizio facevo pratica con un metro di legno guardando i tuoi video, poi ho comprato 2 longsword da allenamento e ho cominciato a mettere in pratica ciò che ho imparato da te con un mio amico. Interesting to watch. One notable difference to e.g. Filipino styles is, that you attempt to parry at long range, where the opponent can only reach the hands or arms. At that range, one could evade the opponent's strike by moving the hands away, and cutting at the same time as a counter, without getting into a bind. It's a difference in styles, of course, and both will work. Anyways, thanks for this!

Bravo Fede and Fabio ! Great fencing and knowledge of measure. I'm thinking about buying the Thokk gloves as my main gloves. In my group we all use one-handed metal swords, sabers, arming swords, and I use a sidesword. Do you think I'll be okay?

@@SrGatonegro27 well as far as I know you should be ok. They tend to be expensive but they work as intended, based on the feedback people gave me through the years.

@FedericoMalagutti I know they are a bit weird, but you get some money this Christmas, and since I really like mobility but I also want to keep my hands safe I think they are the perfect choice, maybe you know some better ones, for 5 fingers, I would love a video talking about 5 finger gloves, I think lobster gloves modify the fencing style a lot.

@ it depends from glove to glove. Sparring gloves for instance are far better than spes, and they don’t make my fencing change too much. Of course, this is with the Longsword, with other weapons is different, I agree.

Hello! You constantly lose contact with the enemy's sword. And the battle is like a counter-attack parade. Try this exercise: come into contact with the enemy’s sword and try, without breaking contact, to strike or thrust into the enemy’s head, neck, chest. We train like this without protective jackets, just a mask, chest protection and gloves.

@@dmitriibrovko5737 You mean in this way here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYiYeHyCf8yjf6cfeature=shared I used to train this way from 2013 to 2017 more or less. I reached a decent level of performance in that context but it’s too limiting and I got back at fencing with the jacket.
