This is one of my favorite ways to spar. It allows you to be more creative and work on transitions and positioning without being immediately punished for trying things you're not already good at.

Very enjoyable sparring to watch, my compliments to both. I esp. liked the exchanges starting at 8m30s and at 9m30s.

I'm a sparring guy in a white lobster armor. I use Asian weapons of the spear. But I fell in love with the longsword. Currently learning the longsword 3 times. Still, I use the longsword as spear. I'm learning a lot from this video. Thanks!

Great stuff! We also do that in our club, slowing things down a bit can lead to great insights and improved technique.

Would love to see a current kit breakdown for your fencing gear

I would love if you could show interpretations of Hugo Wittenwiler's baselard technique, I can't find any demonstrations online and you are already very skilled with short weapon sparring.

Check out Nikolay Aslamov for Wittenwiller. He translated from original language and did interpretation

I know concerning big weapons you have done only greatswords, but it would be special if you did too "danish bearded axe" or two handed heavy hammer, or even two handed flail or rmphaia

There's halberd coming up soon. The other weapons are cool, but I don't have any like that, so that's something for the far future maybe.
