There is a specific cleaning mode to run probe cleanser (probe cleanser cleaning). An often too common problem with this analyzer is that the internal fluidics do not get cleaned appropriately as often as they should and a internal clot forms. There is a section in the manual where it talks about zapping and flushing the apperatures 4 times but this protocol is embedded in the pages of the manual and not readily found. Our Mindray analyzer is no longer in use because it did get an internal clot and the company jo longer supports the analyzer. We now have a Sysmex XN-550.

I am sorry. We do not use that analyzer anymore and the BC 3200 is no longer supported by the company. That being said, I will give it a shot. You want to open up the side door and look to see if the syringe (connected to tubing) is bringing up fluid as it moves. If there are bubbles you may have a leak in the tubing, clot in the RBC measuring chamber, or clot in the WBC Lyse (in door on other side of machine). Check around your analyzer for leaks from un fastened tubing. Run saline as a patient and watch to see if the cell counts go to 0. Also watch the WBC Lyse reagent tubing to see if there are bubbles and fluid moving through the analyzer. If the not cell count is not 0, zap and flush the apperatures 4x. If fluid isn't moving in the WBC lyse tubing send a needle through the straw and tubing with warm water to clear residue build up. Usually the instrument will say syringe motor error because the fluid is not moving properly through the analyzer.

It sounds like you either have a hose/tubing that needs to be replaced along with the filter or just the filter. There may be a something blocking the flow of fluidics through the analyzer. It is not publicized much but this analyzer needs to be cleaned A LOT.

We no longer have this analyzer because a clot formed and the company no longer makes parts or provides service for this analyzer. It has been a very frustrating experience. I am sorry for your situation and that it took me so long to answer. It has been a stressful spring and summer semester for me this year.

I am still waiting for your response on the RDW correction. Results on all QC Levels on our BC-3200 AutoHematology analyzer were consistently High. There's nothing on the Manual Troubleshoot that can correct it. And no matter how many times you're going to calibrate , the problem remains.

HERAMANIGO Was the calibration successful and the QC not? Are you using Mindray Calibrator & QC? Is it mixed thoroughly before putting it on the analyzer? One thing I found out on Friday is that Mindray is/will no longer be supporting the BC 3200. You may want to start looking for another analyzer because I am not sure if they will be making the reagents much longer.

The Calibration was unsuccessful ,likewise with the QC. Yes, I am using Mindray Calibrator and QC applying the principle instructions in the insert . Disappointed also to learn that Mindray ceased the production of reagents of BC 3200 'cause we just purchased the analyzer less than 2 yrs ago. Perhaps we've been decieved by the Vendor that recommended the analyzer .Why we never learned that ahead of time ?

HERAMANIGO I am unsure about the timeliness of the decision. They do have other models though. Maybe you can get a deal on an exchange for another model if they discontinue the reagents.

George Antony Have you tried the Sysmex service line? They provide amazing support for their customers! I currently do not have a Sysmex analyzer and am unable to help you. : / That being said, it sounds like you have a clot somewhere on the instrument and need to thoroughly clean the tubing.

No need to waste this large amount of diluent because the system says it is expired, just put another bar code in diluent screen and you're good to go. Edit It's not really expired, just the system count since day you opened it rather than real day of it's expire.

@@djoukham5294 The vacuum filter is clogged by dirt or it needs replacement. You can't fix this problem by yourself, call the authorized dealer for proper service. Best luck.
