HEMI Swap Jeep Renegade pt. 29 Headers, Mid Pipes, and Brake Lines

In this part of the HEMI Swap Jeep Renegade build I get new BBK shorty headers installed along with 797 Performance Mid Pipes, in preparation for re-installing the engine. I also finalize the brake and Fuel line routing, and get it all wrapped up in fire resistant insulation (just in case lol). I also threw in a Circle D torque converter, but didn't really record anything interesting with that, but it's in there I swear. Getting very close to re-installing the drivetrain and getting this thing put together. I can't wait!

I once mentioned, i have Renegade too, beautiful car, but since i live in the EU with all the regulations i only got 1.3L engine... Seeing this beauty coming to fruition, and seeing the hemi beast, man... That's gonna be a blast. Just don't stop, please :)

Thanks! It's pretty surreal seeing how close it is to being relatively "finished". I made a ton more progress yesterday, so it's looking like this thing will be back together in no time. Yeah that 1/4" line was super basic and worked out really well. I was thinking of all kinds of trays and 3D printed parts to make something work, but realized I was just over complicating things.

Man I really underestimated how much work this was going to be. It's been such an enjoyable process, and having y'all along for the build has really kept me pushing to get this finished, and not take any shortcuts. Oh you already know lol. I have a whole spare set of wheels just for burnouts, plus another set for the track, and a pair of beadlocks for when i make it fast, and the ones that are already on it of course. I might have a wheel problem lol

Quick question. Are you concerned about the very small grill in the renegade not allowing enough airflow to cool the hemi. The grill slits are only open a little at the top.

That's a good concern, but I think I've mitigated that as much as possible. I cut out the rest of the grille to make the whole thing a functional vent, along with a cooler thermostat to hopefully help out also. There might be plans for a different front bumper grille too... Heat is definitely a concern, but we'll see what happens lol. Thanks for looking out, and helping in case I miss something.
