Guys - did you air down on the defender? And if you did, that's the reason you got the pinch flat. The lower profile tyres on the newer disco's and rangies shouldn't be aired down. Keep them at normal pressure as lowering them does not increase footprint at all and just increases the chance of a puncture, there's no point dropping pressure when the profile is low as you don't get any benefit and flats are common. I've had my Jeep I have taken it on basic trails in the woods and rode around on dirt roads, but to be honest, a two wheel drive would have done it fine. I finally went to an offroad park where the Jeeps capabilities were required and I was not disappointed. The more I drove it over obstacles the more confident I got with it, its a goat. In the south most places to drive are wooded and a tight fit, visibility and maneuverability are king. Not to throw any shade to a Bronco but I have sat in one of those and the visibility and the sense of exactly where the vehicle was really seemed to be lacking. Great post. These vehicles are getting too big for wooded trails. 90% of these will never see any serious trails but the Jeep is still the most optimized for them. And the Jeep is also the easiest to modify with a lift and larger tires. That Bronco already has 35s and struggles a little to match the Jeep with relatively puny 32s or 33s. The Defender is really just going to be used on snowy roads lets face it. The Bronco will be better on roads and is a good all arounder

Yeah the Land Rover sucks on these American Trails but if you take it on some grassy British kind of land with a little bit of axle twister here and there the traction control is pretty amazing. I just like the fact that the traction control does work so great when needed. I am biased though I own a Land Rover but it's an old school Discovery 2 with traction control that works great and solid axles with no sway bars so I kind of get the best of both worlds. I do like the concept of the traction control being aggressive because if all you have is an open diff or a locker it's kind of nice to have something to not have to use the locker because the locker can sometimes be necessary but also hinder steering. But if you have traction control that works really really well it's just automatically happens and then it's off and you don't even know it and there's no thinking about it. And the one on my old disco too is actually pretty reliable it always works great. I've seen other videos with the Bronco and it's pretty damn impressive because it handles better on the street than the Jeep yet it still has front and rear lockers with decent articulation for ifs and Towing more than the Jeep
