Brought back so many memories of my last vacation with my sister 4 years ago before she passed away from cancer. The Ernest Hemingway house is a must see in Key West. The restaurant you went to, Blue Heaven, is a unique restaurant that has awesome food, which is also a place that I would highly recommend.

Archie jumping in Mom's lap n letting her hold him was totally awesome!!!😻💖 Very cool vlog, never seen this gem of Key West n one of America's most lauded authors, so it was a super cool treat to see!!! The fact that it is also a cat haven is wonderful!!! I applaud Hemingway for a great use of his property!!! I love cats, n I just adopted my girl Roxie last September. She is part Maine Coon n is 10 yrs old. I am 65 so a senior cat adopted by a senior person was fee free, though I donated. She was from the APL!!! I wish I could take all of them home, n if I had a piece of property like Hemingway's, I would definitely do the same with it and house homeless cats!!! "One cat just leads to another." Yep, I have four. I've got one that I adopted from the shelter that was older... she began to sit in front of me while I was at the computer and put her paw on my face. She taught the other 3 to do it. It's the cutest thing. I'm pretty sure that I need next ...a 6 toed paw on my face. 😻 I've watched tons of videos on Hemingway's house and those cats, Adam. I have to say this was the best video I've seen.

Adam well done. I have a small Channel in which I do Key West vlogs and the one thing you now know is how LOUD the island is! Planes, trucks, landscapers, etc makes it very difficult to vlog there. Great job!

This is my favorite day's adventure at Key West, loved the tour of the Hemingway house!! So amazing and all those kitties with 6 toes!! I had 6 toed cat when I was a child who would wake me up in the morning for school!!

My cat that was 12 yrs old had extra toes on both front paws. These cats are called “polydactyl” My cat was a male cat and he was loving. He loved to snuggle. We had to put him down just before Thanksgiving, he had cancer.

I’ve seen some amazing sunsets growing up on the Northern coast of California I must say the sunset at Key West was spectacular and I’ll never forget it. Climbing lighthouses is a workout. I have climbed a few. But the views from up on top of a lighthouse are really worth the workout. They’re beautiful. That is one of the smaller ones I have climbed. My favorite Disney song actually comes from Pete’s Dragon, Candle On The Water.

Hey, Adam, when you and mom were at Blue Heaven, right behind you was a line painting of a sea turtle. Underneath it was signed Wyland. I had forgotten he has a studio there in Key West. Thank you for sharing the Key West adventures! What a blessed time with your mama too. I lived in KW for six years. It was good to reminisce. The Hemingway House, the Butterfly place (earlier this week; I remember when it first opened), and Blue Heaven are favorites! Some other places for next time are the Truman's Little House, sunset sail or parasailing, and Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. Safe travels back up the keys. Btw the stretch between Key Largo and Miami is called the 18 mile stretch.

Glad you took us on the tour, as I'd DIE if I tried it. I'm deathly allegic to cats. I don't think there is enough Sudafed to survive it!! Key West is one of 2 places in FL I've never made it to, that I'd really like to go. Ironically Momma the Woo mentioned the other one last video....Tarpon Springs. Sponges and beach look nice/interesting but hear the Greek food is the best this side of Greece!

In my cat rescue I do have a couple of polydactyls. I have a New York 3-year-old in Michigan here when she walks across the room it looks like she's walking on Michigan! When you post on Facebook I will send you the cutest baby picture of little mouse she's actually 6 months old now her mom is from New York and exotic shorthair and Cleo her mother is a polydactyl little mouse is not going anywhere she is so tiny and so adorable. I have a 24-year-old Russian Blue and little mouse just adores her unfortunately at the moment she's in decline and every day really is a gift she's going blind she's going deaf she's losing weight I'm not looking forward to losing her but little mouse will take her place when that time comes. ❤️ Thank you for sharing this is one of my favorite favorite of the new year!
