So happy you reviewed this journal - I have really been looking at their products lately while I am looking for a new journal to use for regular journaling. I think the higher price point is fine, especially since I would be saving on the intense shipping charges that come along with my Archer & Olive orders (I get it, but like... holy moly sometimes I pay more for shipping than I do the products I am ordering).

It's a very pretty journal, I love the color and adore the minimalist design. It's slightly out of my comfortable price range, especially since I don't know how well it works with fountain pens, but it's a solid maybe. Thanks for the review!

Perfect for my Stitching/Knitting Journal. The Honey was my colour choice too. Now, all I need is to know your nail varnish brand and colour, so I can match my journal. Still need the B5 size for Bullet so Archer and Olive won't suffer from any loss of my patronage until they size up. Definitely worth the price point to have a Canadian, small sustainable business to support.

💛 I think the notebook is beautiful, not for me, the price point is high for me. But I don’t like spending a ton of money on notebooks. For my birthday I got the archer and olive subscription box and I have to say I get why these notebooks are the price they are at.

💛I'm so happy you reviewed Hemlock & Oak. I have seen ads for their journals pop up quite a bit, and I have been so curious about how they compare to Archer & Olive. I had seen one other review, but I don't recall them mentioning things like the lack of elastic closure and back pocket, and your pen test was more thorough. I am also a huge A&O fan, but will definitely pick up an H&O notebook or two in the future~!

I adore that grey color. So quiet, subtle, and classy! I also like the sustainability aspect. Hmm, decisions decisions! I am ordering my first "real" bujo here soon and have been debating between a Notebook Therapy or an Archer & Oliver but this one is now definitely in that final round too! Thanks for sharing!

@@PlantBasedBride The planners are well designed but I will admit that the 2022 cloth cover do collect dust :( -- I have the dark green colour and wish it was as pristine as when I first got it! However, it just shows how much I carry around my planner!

I love that color! I love he subtlneness of the dots for the grid. The color should be named Mustard Yellow. Honey is a bit lighter. I absolutely would by this one! 🌻
