In honor of World NTM Awareness Day, Bronchiectasis and NTM 360 and NTM Info & Research presented a webinar on hemoptysis with featured presenter, Mark Metersky, M.D., F.C.C.P, Chief of the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine and Director of the Center for Bronchiectasis Care at UConn Health. After the presentation, attendees submitted questions for the expert to answer.

Hi i have symptoms like food get stuck and takes forever to go down, slight chest discomfort, ecid taste in my mouth and I've been coughing up about 100ml of blood for almost 3weeks now. 😔

I’ve been diagnosed with NTM and BE. I take 3oral antibiotics and Arikayce. Can’t do airway clearance because of bleeding. I can cough up blood on demand.
