Hi William, if you have a chance, what insulating aggregates are suitable for use with lime to make mortar you mentioned? What materials are the aggregates composed of?

Hi great vid do u need to have all the oak beams etc inside to compensate using hempcrete I’m thinking about doing my extension in it Cheers
@williamstanwix2 жыл бұрын
Hi, yes the oak frame goes up first and provides the structure, it takes the loads of the roof and upper floors. The Hempcrete holds itself up and the finishes. You could also use glu lam timber as in this build thathempcreteguy.com/work/hemp-block-with-glulam-frame

It’s 200litres of hemp shiv to 40kg of lime binder. There are formulas in the design guides which you can download from my website - www.thathempcreteguy.com

Didn't he say? Alligator Saw.

It’s called an alligator saw, I think Dewalt and Bosch both make one.
