My husband heard a local band play this song once at one of our church music concerts, and with in days was playing and singing it, it became one of his favorites and most requested by our congregation. He was what you call a natural player, never had a lesson, could not read music, and had perfect pitch. GOD called him home just before the last election of GWB. While I miss him horribly I know one day I'll join him and our 16 year old on the other side of the Easter Gate.

Love to hear candy's anointed singing. When Jesus saved my soul he turned me completely around. He santified me and filled me with the holy ghost. That's what it's going to take for to make it to heaven.

She’s the real deal!! We dated years ago when I sang in The Original Sound and she is still my favorite female singer! I wish she would release a new record! I’ll write it and pay for it!!

what a shame this group didn't stick around for many more years. I don't they didn't go to far into the 90's
@isabellamarascalceaux4 жыл бұрын
TheShospitali well they were touring and recording as late as 88. And their career started in the Late 50’/early 60’s. Joel’s dad , the late W.T. Hemphill pastored in West Monroe Louisiana and LaBreeska was on the road with The Happy Goodman Family (her relatives) so they’re on up in age. 80 plus. And try had about a 30-35 year career
